Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief fund, days after the city of Chennai came to a standstill due to heavy rains and floods.
In a letter from his production house Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh wrote:
Dear Madan Chief Minister,
We are all deeply affected by the devastation wreaked on the city of Chennai by the fury of nature. At the same time, the resilience of the people of Chennai and the way in which the community has come together to help each other and face this adversity is commendable and makes us all feel proud.
On behalf of Red Chillies Entertainment and Team Dilwale, please accept our contribution of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.
We appreciate the massive effort undertaken by your government and everyone in Chennai, to deal with this calamity and we hope our contribution will help in a small way.

But I wanna ask SRK fans why he is making donations before media? How do media have come to know about his donation? Dont you always accuse Salman of making donations to show off because media publish about some of his donations???
It’s a really nice gesture by srk, I am happy that he donate such a big amount to Chennai, whatever the intention he had (publicity or he is showing his good side) doing this,I don’t know and seriously I don’t care, but I am happy that he did this.
But what I don’t like that some srk fans are comparing the donation amount with the other actor’s amount, like Rajnikanth donate only 10L and SRK donate 1cr. Come on guys it doesn’t matter how much u donate (whether it’s 500 Rs or 1cr), don’t compare it with value or amount because by doing this u r hurting the emotions of the donator.

Just A Short Ques from idiots. If SRK wanted publicity why did he waited for two days? SRK followed his principle by not publicising charity done on 5th december. It was TN CMO that reveals it.
