Bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief fund, days after the city of Chennai came to a standstill due to heavy rains and floods.
In a letter from his production house Red Chillies Entertainment, Shah Rukh wrote:
Dear Madan Chief Minister,
We are all deeply affected by the devastation wreaked on the city of Chennai by the fury of nature. At the same time, the resilience of the people of Chennai and the way in which the community has come together to help each other and face this adversity is commendable and makes us all feel proud.
On behalf of Red Chillies Entertainment and Team Dilwale, please accept our contribution of Rs 1 crore to the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.
We appreciate the massive effort undertaken by your government and everyone in Chennai, to deal with this calamity and we hope our contribution will help in a small way.

Only sad thing to read here in comment section that fans comparing the amount which is donated by various superstars/stars. I request all of you don’t compare the donation amount, its is not a boxoffice collection of movie actors. Grow up.

SRK donates 1 cr once out of his almost 100 cr monthly income and he is man with golden heart , he is the most generous blah Blah blah and blah.

@Zeeshan, ‘say no to Khans’ could also mean the three Khans in Bollywood. There is no real need to give a religious angle to it. Everyone is free to express, protest, boycott, support anything they want to. As long as it’s not abusive or entirely senseless, we have no problem with it.

You both are idiots ! SRK did not show off his charity . He donated on 5th , and we came to know on 7th evening . That too when this news was leaked by the CMO .
