The last time a festive Salman Khan release was NOT a blockbuster was when ‘Wanted’ released during Eid 2009! Since then, the superstar has released 6 films during one of the three major festivals (Eid, Diwali, Christmas) and all 6 films have gone on to be blockbusters or better.
5 of those films (Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan) released during Eid and one film (Dabangg 2, arguably his ‘smallest’ blockbuster) released during the Christmas weekend.
Interestingly, no Salman Khan film in the last 6 years has released during Diwali. The last film that released for Diwali was ‘London Dreams’ in 2009.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo
Why are we talking about this now? Well, the kind of response that ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ has received both in India and Overseas, has taken the pre-release expectations from ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ to an altogether different level. The film is by far the hottest in trade circles and there are realistic expectations that the Sooraj Barjatya directed film will take a much bigger opening than the Kabir Khan classic.
Also, the Rajshri directed film reunites Khan with Barjatya, the director-actor duo of all-time grossers like ‘Hum Aapke Hai Kaun’ and ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’. What sort of response will ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ get?

The more you read comments on the various films out of Bollywood I have come to the realization that at least 75% of indian people live on the negative side of life, always on grumble street, see nothing good in others or their country, yet they talk about not wanting to have any negative things around them. Bear something in mind Life ends when you stop dreaming, hope ends when you stop believing and love ends when you stop caring. So dream, hope and love and make life beautiful for those around you and your country and to do this one must always keep good positive thoughts in mind. See the good and not the bad, and maybe our world will become a better place. Even as you hate someone bear in mind that there is always someone out there who hates you.

PRDP will be huge. And after BB historic success it become hotter.
Though we can’t predict anything right now but it has huge chance to be an All time grosser.
I think now Salman should work on fresh scripts and better directors not remakes or masala. Because even from 2010-2015 we seen, his bigger success Dabangg,ETT,BB are origional scripts while Ready,bodyguard,kick were also blockbuster but not the level of originals mentioned above. Dabangg 2 was a crap, a remake of dabangg.
There are rumours of dabangg 3, I want that Salman do a new film than this Dab3.

Either that, or the closeness in release date between BB and PRDP may affect the movie negatively as it may a Salman overkill. Also the story has to be made in a way to click with modern audience and explore the modern day family nucleus. If it’s anything like HSSH it will not work. Let’s see!
guys have u seen london dreams?in this movie salman beat ajay in acting taking a sweet revenge of hddcs.i have high respect for ajay.so being a salman fan i loved & watched the film more than wanted.only music is bad.if anyone feel the dialogue,london dreams is salman’s best:ajay’s dialogue is better but salman’s physical acting is better.i asked some hrithik fans about the film,they said a truly great film.salman fans watch it.dont watch salman’s supporting role films like main mrs khanna,hello,heroes,salaam-e-ishq.
