The unstoppable juggernaut called PK continues to roll, as the film sustained well enough to collect Rs 9 crore (estimates) on its 12th day at the box office. The biggest superstar in the country, Aamir Khan, now has yet another 250 crore grosser to his yet.
The story is similar overseas too. PK has crossed the 100 crore mark and could eventually topple Dhoom 3 as the highest grosser of all time.

aamir is also a great actor, but for me shahrukh is the best bc im a fan ofcures, you see shahrukh isnt choosing the right movies at the moment, you know happy new year was a bad movie from shahrukh but it did 200cr, think what the movie could do to the box office if it had a story line like kal ho naa ho or some of the other hits from shahrukh, amir khan is a person that everyone loves hritik fans shahrukh fans and you know salman fans but with shahrukh isnt the same only hi’s fans watch hi’s movies he isnt loved by everyone, but aamir is, like about 1990s aamir was nothing all hi’s movies flopped out but only like 3 or 4 wich one of them become an all time, but in 1990 was te hardest and shahrukh made 2 all time and many hits, and even now since 2010 he have not even had a single flopp wich is impressive, i like aamir khan as well trust me but you guys you know talk bad stuff about shahrukh im not trying to defend him or something bc if hi’s movies do 400 cr i will get nothing so it doesnt matter for me, i just mean sometimes he does good movies and sometime the other one, i think it’s bc shahrukh has lost the acting sense he had in 1990s he have changed hi’s acting style, thats why, but enyway i like salman, amir, akshay, hritik all of them but lets not disrespect each of theyre movies theyre all good actors in theyre own way, sorry about my english im not that good at it

I don’t think the success of Dhoom 3 can be given to Aamir Khan only. Dhoom 3 would have been a huge grosser whether Aamir Khan was in the movie or not. He however does deserve credit in PK as it is a very good film.
AAMIR is the only actor who never mentions “100 cr” “200 cr” “300 cr” collection in the Media.
SRK has always talked about business how every film should collect “300 cr” & “400 cr”.
AAMIR is on the look out for CONTENT and QUALITY in a movie and susccess will soon follow.
AAMIR made a mistake with DHOOM-3 as movie sucked but still collected 275+cr thanks to “franchise” factor and Chrismas release and Aamir’s superstardom. But DHOOM-3 was just a bad boring movie.
SRK also made a mistake with CHENNAI EXPRESS as the movie was was bad, bore, over acted and loud with average direction of Rohit Shetty. That movie also worked because of Masala factor & major holiday release. 225+ crores!
HNY despite ave to below ave WOM has crawled to 204 crores despite unbelievable start at BO with 45 crores on DAY 1. overlong length and bad direction and screenplay were glaringly visible in HNY but still collected big due to major holiday release and pure MASALA factor.
Here is the real problem.
AAMIR’s films like 3 IDIOTS & now P.K. has good repeat value for performances, direction, screenplay and music.
SRK’s films for past 5 years has absolutely NO repeat value. JTHJ, DON-2, Ra.ONE, CE and now HNY have ZERO repeat value. Many are absolute bore.
AAMIR has repeatedly worked with HIRANI in 2 movies now. which are bound to become memorable with good repeat values in both 3 IDIOTS & now P.K.
SRK has NOT worked with SHIMIT AMIN again since his most memorable movie with good repeat value in CHAK DE INDIA which became a rage like 3 IDIOTS in 2007.
In so many words, SRK has completely wasted his time behind FARHAN AKHTAR, ANUBHAV SINHA, FARAH KHAN while AAMIR has stuck to his memorable movies giver in HIRANI.
On the way to 300 cr.
And with PK, Amir will be in such a safe position that no one will be able to take the number 1 spot from him, at least for next one and half years.
His supremacy can be described by the fact that out of his last 5 releases in India , 3 are 200/300 cr + .
At the same time, out of his last 5 releases in overseas, 3 are 100 cr +.

AAmir khan is the biggest superstar in india and even overseas now…without doubt….i disliked PK as it’s content hurt me….but will say hirani+aamir combo is much stronger than any fan following….
dnt know when we 30 rs. ticket buyer will get equal importance, some quality peoples buy 600 rs. ticket for foolish entertainment and call their hero is superstar just for big collection but superstar should be judged by ticket sells and you knows who is biggest and only one superstar in current hindi cinema- Salman khan.
Because people trust him, that Aamir will give us a quality movie.
actually i was not ready to watch this movie..but the WOM and review made me watch..and must say kudos to amir and hirani..it deserve 300cr..bcoz the movie is way betr thn dhoom3..brilliant acting by amir..best movie of the year after haider..
And between some quality movie Aamir give some crap movie like Dhoom 3, Dhobi That, Talaash.
