Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who delivered the industry’s biggest grosser Dhoom 3 in December last year, says his audience is not interested in his films after ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
“I have certain responsibility as an actor and post ‘Satyamev Jayate’ people don’t see me as an actor (laughs).. When I was shooting in Rajasthan for ‘PK’, the reporters there didn’t ask me a single question about the film, they all were interested in ‘Satyamev Jayate’.”
“I think people are not interested in my film and it’s time for me to retire. ‘Achha ho gaya ‘Dhoom 3’ ne bacha liya, it did well,” said the actor.
The third season of Satyamev Jayate will begin in September this year.
“It has been an encouraging journey so far. I am so happy with the response. This season we will deal with some new topics,”

Mangal Pandey wasnt torture- irrespective of its execution/ direction/ portrayal (me personally I liked it but could have been better though) was not torture- it was a real life depiction of actual historic events….
Talaash was too ‘mature’ for kids who can only relate to jaado or rom com teen movies- on an emotional level Aamir and Ranis portrayal of grieving parents was riveting so cannot expect guys like sss khan or romance expiry to appreciate that kind of acting… Only ppl who have suffered a loss will relate to such emotions n expressions coming from 2 great performances by Aamir and Rani…

amir’s script that also very few will remembered rather than amir himself whose biggest films like 3i is due to multiactors mainly due to virus and chatur and d3 due to brand and ghajini due to south of remake.my best amir film is Mann and lagaan.still he is a scrap in Bollywood.

Amir Khan, I live in the USA. Sir, please take this as constructive criticism, intended to be helpful: Doom 3 offered greater expectations than it delivered. The story itself was presented in a boring way. The slow-motion action scenes were extremely un-impressive (maybe they were a bit too slow) and detracted from the impact that those scenes should have and may have had if they had not been shown in slow-motion. You– with hair so short is not attractive. (Forgive me for speaking so frankly.) Those newspaper-boy pants are not attractive. They didn’t do your body justice. I realize you were going for the magician style, but that round-brimmed hat you wore in the film was not attractive-looking on you. The humor in Dhoom 3 was not enough and not very entertaining compared to the first two parts of the series. Your ears are so conspicuous with such short hair that it may have caused your attempts to seem like a bad – guy character appear comical and unbelievable. (We all have uncomplimentary flaws in our physical composition. They needn’t be a hindrance to us.) I believe if your hair was a length over your ears and if the hat was a small cowboy-type (or Dick-Tracy/Clark Gable style) with the front brim tipped downward, slightly turned up sides, and indented top-center also indented sides of center-front, in black, gray, or tan color with a small feather on one side, your bad-guy look would have been much improved. Your pants also needed to be changed to a type still 1920s-30s vintage with/o suspenders but straight-legged over the boot not tucked in. The point is, if people are not interested in your movies lately as much as they once seemed to be, it is not YOU or your acting that is at fault. However, all that aside, your dancing & acrobatics in the movie were absolutely terrific & you looked great in those performances. I was amazed that you had that kind of talent. Sir– that nude photo poster of you for “P K” did not do you justice. You have an outstanding-looking body. (I say that as a person who has a small measure of semi-professional critiquing of photos of nude individuals in photography.) But that short hair messed up the image because your ears in combination with your facial expression appeared comical. Cover your head from your nose upward or wear longer hair and WOW! You are quite an impressive specimen of human muscle and manliness. If you want to quit acting in movies because YOU just don’t want to do that sort of work anymore, then, certainly you should quit. But, if you want to quit because you have the impression that people are not interested in your movies, it may be in your best interest to give that some time and a bit more thought. Lots of other actors are struggling with all of their might to attract attention to them and their movies, etc. while so much media attention is focusing on Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan right now, no offense meant toward either of them. With a couple of minor changes, that nude photo poster of you would have gotten you in the limelight in a favorable way right along with those two other Khans. But, think about this: they have allowed their Fans to draw close to them. They speak to them in personal ways on social media platforms. As an actor, it may help you to follow their lead. Talk to your Fans … let them feel close to you in ways that you and your wife can feel comfortable with but, keep comments that may not be interpreted or received well, to yourself.
