Comparisons between Rajkumar Hirani’s PK and Umesh Shukla’s OMG! Oh My God is inevitable. Both films are based on the theme of god and both discuss the issue of fake godmen and those who create fear in the society in the name of god.
Due to Aamir Khan’s presence, the reach of PK is tremendous. The footfalls (number of ticket sold) of PK in 4 days was more than the entire run of OMG! Oh My God.
But which, according to you, is the better film? PK or OMG! Oh My God? Vote!

@sss The most intelligent films come from South India. Eg. Robot, Makkhi (Eega), Vishwaroopam, Kaanchivaram. South’s worst films are better than Bollywood craps like Chennai Express and Happy New Year. CDI and Swades are nothing in front of Kaanchivaram and other south great films.

if south is so great then y all south stars hv flopped badly in Bollywood and hv been forced to return to their industry after flopping badly in Bollywood???I hv bo disrespect for south stars but I hate ppl like u who think south is ahead of Bollywood.
now u will say Bollywood every year remakes 3-4 south blockbusters.but doesn’t ur own south industry remake each other mvz.original versions of films like wanted,bhool bhulaiyaa,singham etc hv been remade into all 4 languages of south and even south remakes Bollywood films.around 170 Hindi hits till date hv been remade into south with latest being aashiqui2,queen,tdp,ev.

@sid_original,you also kindly check what kamalji said about KING KHAN’S CALIBER.as an younger KING KHAN showed politeness and respect to HIS olders I know KING KHAN is far better actor than kamalji in emotions because I have better sense than low grade film watchers like you.viswaroopam is only one film which doesn’t looks like ordinary cheapest south Indian films/bollywood remakes and raju hirani’s illogical movies that’s I liked a lot.

OMG was more like an offbeat film that dealt with the concept and theme without adding unnecessary masala angle like a heroine, love story and dancing and singing. PK was a good timepass, OMG however is superior interms of its content and delivery. had aamir done OMG, aamir fans would of not hesitated in admitting the superior film. OMG did it without a heroine with character actor, akshay and mithun as central characters, that was risky.
OMG wasn’t senseless either, It was educational and funny at the same time, that’s what you call a satire. PK was a mish mash of romance, comedy and social problems, whilst OMG stuck to it’s plot and theme and did not try to please the audience by adding masala angle also.

OMG is best. I got bored with PK as it is very much similar to OMG and there was no proper conclusion about god and spirituality. OMG ends with existence of God with a message to help poor. More over, I follow Brahmakumaris. So, there nothing new to me. Everything told by BK Shivani was in PK. I would say PK is a mix of BK & OMG.

In My point of view omg much better narreted then pk, for narration omg doesn’t created any controversy, but with same content pk created lots of controversy. If we take pk as a all round movie which has comedy, drama, better music then pk is much better movie. But in satire content OMG is best.
