Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming film ‘Mohenjo Daro’, which is one of the biggest and most anticipated films of 2016.
It marks the return of Ashutosh Gowariker, the director of the Oscar nominated film ‘Lagaan’ and other critically acclaimed classics like ‘Swades’ and ‘Jodhaa Akbar’.
Hrithik, who had earlier said the film was a ‘biggie’, has promised to take the audience to an era that has been forgotten. For those unaware, the actor was referring to the civilisation named Mohenjo Daro that existed in the province of Sindh, Pakistan back in 2500BC.
The superstar tweeted “Journeys that test strength of character are ones you should be most PROUD OF! Its a WRAP!”

Within a few minutes of Hrithik’s tweets, #MohenjoDaro became the top trend on Twitter India.
Also starring Pooja Hedge in the lead, Mohenjo Daro will be Hrithik’s first film in nearly 2 years. The magnum opus releases in theatres on August 12.

the number of hits akki gave in 2007 and 2012 hr has not given these many hits in his entire career.What is hrithik without his father every time he failed his papa came to his rescue and produced a big budget scientific film to save his career.If we go by boi then hrithik doesn’t have a single solo hit with put his father and multistarrer movie(agneepatj,dhoom2,znmd,kkk3g)all were multostarer and jodha Akbar was a semi hit.Hrithik comes on 2 years with bog actress and big budget movie still struggles to give a solo hit ex:- bang bang and jodha Akbar and they compare him with a real superstar like akki sir.Akki is a self made star and hrithik is a papa made star highly overrated by media.

Why are producers keenly clashing against directors’ whose previous movies were critically and commercially successfull. Rohit shetty and srk clashed against slb whose all movies became cult except sawariya. Now clash against ashutosh gowariker again who directed 3 movies and all are cult and 2 of them is commercially successful. I guess next clash will be against adi, anand rai, imtiaz ali, neeraj pandey and raju hirani, lol. Whats wrong with movie makers? Lol)
Only reason I am supporting MJ is because of Ashutosh. Have been a massive fan of his two masterpieces, lagaan and Swades. But I have lost respect for HR after his pedestrian fight with kangana.
Since the day Mohenjo Daro was announced I was excited like never before because it will bring back Hrithik+Ashu Sir+UTV+AR Rahman+Javed Akhtar . Ashu Sir is one of the Best Directors of Indian Cinema and I am really glad Hrithik acknowledged him for his guidance and vision . Pooja is making a grand debut working with Hrithik and Ashu Sir is nothing but magic . It took 15 months to complete MD and there have been lot of problems while making the movie – Huge budget, Hrithik’s injuries, revisiting the era that has never been shown on Cinema anywhere in the world – Indus Valley Civilization 2600 BC, never seen before action sequences and top notch VFX . These are just the few things I know about the movie . For me this is the most awaited
movie of 2016 . I really missed him in 2015 but I hope he will take his stardom and career to a new level with Mohenjo Daro . I am waiting to see the first poster as soon as possible . Mohenjo Daro is the only Big movie of 2016 that has still not released anything official – poster, teaser, trailer and stills . The clash between MD and Rustom will be intense . I love Akki and it is produced by Neeraj Pandey who is one of my favourite directors so I am also waiting for Rustom as it promises to be a Romantic Thriller .
