Armaan Jain’s debut film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil had a disastrous first day at the box office. The overall occupancy was way lower than the other release this week, Bobby Jasoos, a film that also took a poor start.
There were reports early on Friday that a few shows had to be cancelled as no one showed up to watch the film.
The reports are also mixed, so it remains to be seen if Lekar Hum Deewana Dil can pick up on Saturday and Sunday.
The film has collected Rs 46 lakhs on its opening day, with Mumbai and Delhi/UP circuit contributing close to 30 lakhs. The remaining circuits were complete washouts.
Lekar Hum Deewana Dil has to collect atleast 1 crore on Saturday to have an outside chance of recovering its investment.

@Sid Original YLHJK IS A 1994 MADE FILM MADE IN 1994 AND RELEASED IN 2004 .. even if its crossed YLHJK collection ,shaadi karke phas gaya is a disaster and YLHJK is not……YLHJK is a 10 year delayed released film and voice of SRK is dubbed by someone else….its his kind heart that he allowed that film to release after 10 years you dumbass,still its not a disaster…..what about Criminal Salman’s Marigold(10 lakhs),lucky etc…..SALMAN ‘s has most number of disasters in bollywood aftyer akshay kumar….so get a life first…just think how much a film of flopstar salman’s a delayed film would ci=ollect if it is relased 10 years later like that….may Rs 1000….LOLZ
