Bobby Jasoos has collected Rs 1.75 crore on its first day at the box office with Mumbai and Delhi/UP circuits contributing around 1 crore to its business. The film has collected Rs 15 lakhs in East Punjab and 8 lakhs in Rajasthan.
Considering the pre-release marketing and budget of the film, the opening day business is below par. The reports are also not close to as good as Vidya Balan’s Kahaani (which took a better start) and Kangana Ranaut’s Queen (which took a similar opening, but became the first film in a decade to collect more in its second week).
Bobby Jasoos has picked up at most places today and the night shows at multiplexes will decide the film’s fate at the box office. The opening was so low that it has enough scope to pick up by 60-70%, but even then it might struggle to recover its costs due to the extremely slow start.

Vidya had raised her bar with some enthralling movies and acting, and hence expectations are high.
all her last three film were avg, nothing exceptional, and hence the result.

Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is a disaster because manoos chehra of sholay’s thakur–turned-paglapur’s sarkar was seen at the premier event of the film. He also wiped Armaan’s face with a used handkerchief. Toh Manoos lag gayi Armaan ko!! LOL

Trailer Release Dates of ‘Singham Returns’, ‘Haider’, Other Hindi Films Revealed

Bollywood fans will get to see the trailers of several upcoming films this month.
Daawat E Ishq
The trailer of upcoming film “Daawat E Ishq” is all set to be released on Monday, 7 July.
The official first look trailer will be unveiled at an iftar party, to be hosted by Aditya Chopra who has produced the film under his Yash Raj Films banner.
Directed by Habib Faisal, “Daawat E Ishq” is a comedy drama with Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. The film also has Anupam Kher and Karan Wahi in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Sajid-Wajid.
This is the second time that Parineeti is teaming up with director Faisal after their 2012 release “Ishaqzaade”, while it’s Aditya’s first collaboration with the director.
The film deals with the love story of Hyderabadi salesgirl and a cook from Lucknow, according to NDTV. The comedy drama has been shot extensively in Hyderabad and Lucknow. It is all set to hit the screens on 5 September.
Haider
The official trailer of the much-awaited Vishal Bhardwaj film “Haider”, starring Shahid Kapoor, Tabu and Shraddha Kapoor, will be released at an event on 8 July, according to film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.
The film is understood to be an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and will be the third installment of Bhardwaj’s Shakespeare trilogy, after “Maqbool” (Macbeth) and “Omkara” (Othello).
“Haider” also has Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan in supporting roles. The film’s music is composed by Bhardwaj himself. He has also co-produced the film along with Siddharth Roy Kapur of UTV Motion Pictures and Shahid.
Shahid is teaming up with Bhardwaj once again after the immensely successful 2009 release “Kaminey”. The second time association of the actor-director duo has raised the expectations surrounding the project. The actor will reportedly sport a bald look for a scene in the film, set in Kashmir.
“Haider” is slated to hit the screens on 2 October.
Finding Fanny
The trailer of Arjun Kapoor-Deepika Padukone starrer “Finding Fanny” will be unveiled on 9 July.
“Finding Fanny” is a Hinglish satirical comedy directed by Homi Adajania, of “Being Cyrus” fame. The film has Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur and Anjali Patil in supporting roles, while Ranveer Singh will reportedly do a cameo.
Arjun and Deepika are on a roll with back-to-back successful films. It remains to be seen if the actors will be able to continue their success streak with “Finding Fanny”.
The first looks of Arjun and Deepika were unveiled online recently. The “2 States” actor is sporting a tattoo on his nape, which is evident in one of the posters.
