11AM UPDATE: The evening and night shows at multiplexes seems to have more than made up for the drop at single screen business. 27 cr approx for Day 2, which is again EXTRAORDINARY for Pre-Eid release.
After all the euphoria and celebrations on Friday, KICK has sustained well at the box office on Saturday. The film has collected around 26-27cr, which is very good as it dropped by 20-30% in the morning shows yesterday.
Business picked up evening onwards and multiplexes in cities were up quite considerably for the night shows.
Kick has just about managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in 2 days and should collect 28-30 cr on Sunday to take its all India first weekend total to 80 cr.
The two day business is better than Ek Tha Tiger (47 cr) which released on a national holiday but had a huge drop of nearly 60% on its second day. However, the collections are much lower than Chennai Express and Dhoom 3.

Lol. Yesterday I visited a multiplex where every sit was booked so I could not get the ticket of Kick. So I went to another multiplex, here also the same story. Then I came to know that the whole territory is stormed by Salman Khan starrer Kick, so I will not be able to get a ticket for a long period. The film released on saturday here. Do you know the territory’s name? Its Manipulationpur. Lol

@Aakash: your math was correct. But the fact, only 2.5% people watch film in theater where total population 120cr, n 15% muslim(30cr) in india, if you count total movie goer then max 3cr., 1.5cr muslim watch film in theater, so a films success determine by 50% muslim movie goer.

coming to the kick, its looking gud to me @BO, surely beat Ce bt cant beat K3 though it can go closer to k3, Kick beat k3 in 1st 2 days collection but let c can kick lead k3 after 5 day collection comparision.. Which is looking hard…
K3 roar on long 16 weeks @ single theatres which is longer for any movie in 2013,
after 2 weeks of k3 it faces cmpete to ram leela which opened 16cr with much hyped and i dnt thnk so its entertainment has that hype and opens and will do business like ram leela and give cmpete to kick like ramleela given to k3… And k3 lost screens too in after 1st week becz of thor and arya 2… Still k3 managed to do 244-46cr and kick opened same as k3.. Wait to watch can kick manage to roar continuous as k3 after 5days too.. Both movie released pre festival
