11AM UPDATE: The evening and night shows at multiplexes seems to have more than made up for the drop at single screen business. 27 cr approx for Day 2, which is again EXTRAORDINARY for Pre-Eid release.
After all the euphoria and celebrations on Friday, KICK has sustained well at the box office on Saturday. The film has collected around 26-27cr, which is very good as it dropped by 20-30% in the morning shows yesterday.
Business picked up evening onwards and multiplexes in cities were up quite considerably for the night shows.
Kick has just about managed to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in 2 days and should collect 28-30 cr on Sunday to take its all India first weekend total to 80 cr.
The two day business is better than Ek Tha Tiger (47 cr) which released on a national holiday but had a huge drop of nearly 60% on its second day. However, the collections are much lower than Chennai Express and Dhoom 3.

It is good that you realised your mistake,you are free to make predictions but you should’nt fly too high with them.These bollywood websites with experts are not able to predict collections correctly how can we…koimoi predicted 40crs atleast for its first day,which was totally absurd..indicine are much better in prediction.

Hahaha, it been great to see reaction of Salman haters, i just give one fact Jai ho 33cr 2 day and Sunday was 26cr just on Salman power, now today kick will collect 30cr+, and till wednesday kick will collect close to 140cr in 6 days. More than first week collection of ce 139cr excluding paid previews, so kick 6 days will be equal to ce first week. Than see how many haters will come. Those who are saying Pre Ramadan is not a huge deal as 14% are muslims. So not huge effect. Than why the hell till now no big movie releases during Ramajan. So don’t panic, kick has to go long way from now and it will touch 220 cr.
Salman bhai given his best performence and this film will be his highest collections and set new record for him..

Again, an unbiased opinion:::
– Kick should have taken a better start than it has taken. 100Cr weekend would have guaranteed 220Cr+, but with a 85Cr weekend, we are looking at 180-210Cr max.
– This pre-eid factor is really over hyped, coz it wud have made a difference of max 5-6Cr over the weekend, which means that Kick has not performed to the expected levels.
– Again, the fact that kick has released in 4000 screens really dosent make any difference, coz in most of the places the market is already saturated.
– Bottom line :::: If Monday is above 15Cr, Kick would make about 210Cr, else it will settle at around 180Cr.
The only movie that is realistically looking at 300Cr this year is PK, only if it is reallly good content wise.

Kick had a very strong Saturday despite being affected by pre eid in places like UP and Nizam. The film went exactly the opposite on Friday to what happened on Saturday. Friday stated huge and then some circuits slowed down but on Saturday multiplex business was super strong in evening enabling it cover the difference in the morning shows.
The film collected a huge 26 crore nett on Saturday which is same level as Friday as Mumbai circuit managed to grow well despite Delhi/UP seeing a drop.
The film has now collected 52 crore nett in two days and is heading for a 80 crore nett plus weekend. The film is easily the biggest hit of the year till date and is almost sure to be the first blockbuster of the year.

I must say that SRK fans are still living in a dream world he can never be compared to Salman Khan, one who bribes to win awards under the table (he himself admits to this) Salman films are made for his fans not SRK Bribers etc. We know that Indicine favors SRK as evident over the years but then who cares how much money a film makes for me I do not watch SRK films ever, give me outside Salman, its Akshay Kumar, AB, Aamir Khan, Shahid Kapoor etc but never SRK overacts and very effeminate in his actions, throws his arms around like a lady.
