Jai Ho has struggled in its second week at the domestic box office, even though the film was awarded tax-free status in a state like Uttar Pradesh. The film collected around 88 crore in its first week, but has crashed by more than 75% in week two, to take its 14 day total to around 108 crore.
The film has struggled in circuits like West Bengal, Mysore, Tamilnadu/Keral, Andhra/Nizam and even smaller territories like Orissa were poor.
Jai Ho is running on very limited shows at multiplexes this week, but is still running on a few single-screens. The film is likely to add another 6 crore in the next couple of weeks to take its lifetime business to around 114-115 crore.
Jai Ho will be Salman’s lowest grosser in the last 4 years.

Prabhu Devaa is exception n have his unique style. MPK was a first movie of Sooraj Barjatya, Wanted first hindi movie for Prabhu Devaa. Abhinav Kashyap & Arbaaz Khan both first timers. Deepak Bahry (do you even know him) his only superhit movie was Salman starrer Kurbaan (1991). David Dhawan one of the most successful director chosen Salman as his second fav (after Govindaa) why? why didnt srk coz srk was not good at comedy. By 1997 Salman had tasted success in Romance (MPK, Sanam Bewafa, Saajan), Drama (HAHK, Kurbaan), Action (Baaghi – The trend of action movies changed from AJ Devgan’s Phool aur Kaante. until then movies like Baaghi also consider as action) & Comedy (Judwaa). Srk excelled only in Romance (Deewana, DDLJ, KHKN) & Thrillers (Darr & Baazigar). He tried comedy (Zaamana Deewana – utter flop) n Action (Raam Jaane which was average) !!!!!!

The answers to your questions are as follows:
1- People do not remember the names of the directors of the films starring Aamir, Salman, Ajay and so on because these films work mainly because of the leading casts (i.e. Aamir, Salman, Ajay etc).
2- On the other hand, the films starring SRK work because of the directors and the banners. That’s why people know the directors and the producers of his films.
3- And what Rohit Shetty today is not because of CE but because of his earlier hugely successful films like Singham, Bol Bachchan, Golmaal Series, All The Best etc. Contrary to what you have said, it was SRK that benefitted from Rohit Shetty’s talent. SRK had not had delivered a single super-hit from 2009 until CE happened!
4- Who do not know Anees Bazmee? It is just that he hasn’t set up a production house like Rohit Shetty hasn’t.
5- Sooraj Barataj (or Barjatya?) hasn’t become a powerful director?? What are you up to saying? The fact is that Rajshri Production do not make films often and is more into TV Business. Sooraj Barjatya has only directed five movies till date. They are MPK (ATBB), HAHK (ATBB), HSSH (BB), Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon (Average) and Vivah (Hit).
6- Kabir has made only three films so far. They are Kabul Express (Average), New York (Hit) and Ek Tha Tiger (BB). He has recieved the recognition he deserved. He still has to go a long way. No point of talking about him as of now.

Prabhu deva is the director who gave life to Salman with wanted then how can Salman take credit for the film? Suppose Yaariyaan become blockbuster then director will get most of the credit and if Salman or Aamir is the hero then director would get 0 credit, isn’t it unfair? Actually Superstars can only guarantee opening therefore, the lifetime collection credit shud go to the director. @yash agree Raj shri was a production in 1962 but not been popular instead of some good film,
than came MPK,HAHK,HSSH are were hits, then they casted Hr,Abhishek in Main prem ki diwani hoon-flop, Uff kya jaado mohaabat hai-flop, Vivah-super hit, Ek vivah aisa bhi-wash out etc. So Rajshri wasn’t succeeded much without Salman.
while Yash Raj & Yash chopra famous since their first outing and that is Daag directed with Rajesh Khanna, followed by Deewar,trishul,Kala Pathar,Kabhi Kabhi & Silsila(flop but still classic).before Daar Yash raj produced successful hit Chandni and Lamhe (flop in India and ATBB in overseas open root for YRF in overseas). so it wasn’t case with Yash ji as he was struggling before SRK’s Darr.
YRF given Hit with non-popular starcast Dhoom & made that with huge franchise with Hr & Aamir in next outing, srk worked in remake Don, followed Don sequal but Verdict-Hit remain same with Don(1978) & furthur Don’s.

coming back to Dharma which started their production with Hits Dostana starring Amitabh Bachchan and than Cult Agneepath. Srk’s first film with Dharma was Duplicate which you know not successful, its not SRK its Karan Johar who changed the scenerio of Dharma, with KKHH & K3g and KJO not worked with any actor apart from Srk with his 4-5 releases, than he gave Kaal-avg & successful Dostana,wake up sid,I hate love storys,Agneepath, Ek main aur ek tu,Student of the year,YJHD etc, in which you can see whenever he worked with respective actor he got success. so dear credit goes to srk if Kjo & YRF failed in their outing without srk continuously as Srk’s red chillies had.
and with Dharma SRK also given just hits, except KKHH (2 popular actor) & K3G(Big B,Srk & Hr , even i not consider BIG b than Hr was popular), than KHNH,KANK (again multistarrer hit) & MNIK and these are just hits not even super hits leave blockbuster.
YRF & Dharma had success before and after than SRK.
