Jai Ho has struggled in its second week at the domestic box office, even though the film was awarded tax-free status in a state like Uttar Pradesh. The film collected around 88 crore in its first week, but has crashed by more than 75% in week two, to take its 14 day total to around 108 crore.
The film has struggled in circuits like West Bengal, Mysore, Tamilnadu/Keral, Andhra/Nizam and even smaller territories like Orissa were poor.
Jai Ho is running on very limited shows at multiplexes this week, but is still running on a few single-screens. The film is likely to add another 6 crore in the next couple of weeks to take its lifetime business to around 114-115 crore.
Jai Ho will be Salman’s lowest grosser in the last 4 years.

amir through out the 90’s gave huge flops and boring movies.he come back trough south remake ghajini/so amir is nothing with out his well choosen scripts containing multiple actors.salman trough his life gave huge flops and he is the 2nd actor after akshay kumar who gave most flops.he through out the 90’s get success due to SOORAJ BARJATYA’s family drama entertainer being seems like a side actor,then he only ca give hits due to DAVID DHAWAN’s multistarrer comedy movies.then he now only able to give hit due to south remakes only.shame on these south dubbing artists.

If you are saying srk is undisputed king in overseas with highest number of Blockbusters then it should be Salman Khan in Domestic with highest number of Blockbusters. Why do you compare srk hits when comes to India/domestic? why not Blockbusters? can u make some sense on this? why did you change criteria for India n Overseas? No doubt srk has been consistent in giving hits but if you compare Aamir & Salman number of Blockbusters then the collections of srk hits looks peanuts !!!!

@sss again a half truth by you, srk grounded Yrf and Dharma but equally they also grounded Srk career, Yrf and Dharma right now giving hits without Srk and same is Dharma but does our king ever given any success under his production house Red chilies without been as a main lead. Srk still is one of the leading stars so does others. @suroop the reason is both Yrf and Dharma started their production houses before Srk entrance, Rajshree started their production in bollywood with Salman’s MPK, anees bazmi given Bb welcome with Akshay Kumar and Superhit Singh is King, before Ce Rohit shetty given 6 success in a row, as a director he entered 100cr in 2010 with Golmaal 3, while Srk joined in 2011, before Ce srk has not crossed 120cr while Rohit 110cr, by giving one single blockbuster like Ce you can’t Rate Rohit Shetty as no 1 director due to Srk, remember Its Srk who called Rohit after Golmal 3 success and agreed with him to work in Angoor remake which later Rohit turned down and started with fresh script Ce, if don’t believe than see Rohit interview on you tube with Komal nahta aired on Etc before Ce released. Yrf and Dharma established by Yash chopra in 70’s while Dharma started by Yash johar in 80’s, got your points.

@hrithik, no dude you didn’t get my point.. I didn’t consider donestic blockbusters because the difference is not so huge in india.. For example if salman has 9 blockbusters in india then srk also has 8, so no big difference.. So in india no one is undisputed king.. But in overseas you can see the difference.. Can you compare srk’s 18 blockbusters with the next fellow who has just 2 or 3 blockbusters like aamir or salman?(i think hrithik has more overseas blockbuster than aamir or salman with 4 or 5) So srk is clear winner here.. And another reason i consider only blockbuster for overseas is that almost 90% of srk hits in overseas went on to become a blockbuster..

@aks. Before KKHH Dharma didn’t had even single hit and before Darr Yash chopra was going through low phase with flops like Parampara and loafer. Sooraj baratyaj started with Salman or long before doen’t matter bcuz he had given 2 Atbb which no other director were able to achieve till date. So ur point is very very foolish.
Rohit Shetty has 1 blockbuster and 1 super hit in the form of Golmal 3 and Singham. Golmaal 1 and 2 have been just a hit. All the best was avg and Zameer is a flop. If u know bodyguard directors name then u also might know he said in an interview that he want to direct more bollywood films but poor guy didn’t got an opputunity bcuz Salman walk away with all the credit. Even Arbaz khan won’t get any actor apart from Salman to direct. My point is not about knowing directors name but it’s about getting a goodwill. Director shud easily get a goodwill after giving big hits but Salman and aamir hesitate to give credit to directors.
Sharukh khan give A lot of credits to directors that’s why directors could open a production house with a goodwill. Even Ra one director Anubav sinha produced a movie while Salman blockbuster directors are out of work now except a few like Kabir khan. Since Besharam flopped and Dabangg is credited to Salman, abhinav Kashyap will find tough to get another film. So the moral of the story is, if Salman were in DDLJ or KKHH as a main lead then Yrf and Dharma would be nothing. Understood?
