Jai Ho has struggled in its second week at the domestic box office, even though the film was awarded tax-free status in a state like Uttar Pradesh. The film collected around 88 crore in its first week, but has crashed by more than 75% in week two, to take its 14 day total to around 108 crore.
The film has struggled in circuits like West Bengal, Mysore, Tamilnadu/Keral, Andhra/Nizam and even smaller territories like Orissa were poor.
Jai Ho is running on very limited shows at multiplexes this week, but is still running on a few single-screens. The film is likely to add another 6 crore in the next couple of weeks to take its lifetime business to around 114-115 crore.
Jai Ho will be Salman’s lowest grosser in the last 4 years.

in 1990’s delivering a hit was not an easy task, but yeah today its a cakewalk..how many actors consistently delivered hits in 90’s?? entire decade of 90’s aamir struggled for hits except dil and raja hindustani…. on the other hand srk delivered his like deewanw, darr, bazigar, ddlj, karan arjun,pardes, dtph, k2h2… yeah most of these hits are from big banners, but its not srk’s fault as he didn’t chose the banners but banners chose him… by the way can you tell me any blockbuster which yrf and dharma had before ddlj and k2h2?? tell me… i am not saying that those banners got blockbuster only due to srk… the thing is yrf and dharma needed srk and srk also capitalised those chances..its like give and take… both used each other…that time those banners consider srk as most profitable for them and they invested on him, and in return srk also didn’t dissapoint them… thats it..

coming to overseas boxoffice, yeah aamir has the biggest grossers with dhoom3, 3-idiots.. but it does not mean that he is the overseas king… the reason is srk has 18 overseas blockbusters, where as aamir has just two with 3 idiots and dhoom3, and few superhits like ghajini, talaash, tzp…
