The film showed good growth on it’s 2nd Saturday and Sunday, with around 30% growth each day.

Jthj and Sos both released in around 4500 screens…while ETT released in 3500 screens and made much more than these two films. Such is the power of SALMAN KHAN.

Salman is a very big star, so is SRK. As I’ve read and believe, SRK has been the most consistent star and he’s one who hasn’t tasted failure in the longest time. One interesting fact is that Salman is on the top position today, followed by SRK. They both, in terms of collections, are in the same league.. If we page back to 2008, SRK’s ‘Rab Ne Banadi Di Jodi’ collected more than 80cr domestically, whilst Salman’s ‘God Tussi Great Ho’ collected around only 8cr. Back than, Salman wasn’t even in the league of SRK. Now, the tables haven’t turned, Salman has just faired a little better. One solid movie from SRK and he’ll certainly regain his no.1 spot. :)
Before I answer your question, I’d like to say that yes I am a huge SRK fan and I will always be, but I’m not mindless, I don’t deny facts and I like speaking with history as my evidence.. Well, Ra.One couldn’t surpass Ready’s collections because it didn’t have the potential in it. :)
@hamza i just want to make a small change in your comment that srk has no potential instead of ra one.To be frank both ready & ra one are crap movies but it is the stardom that makes the 1700 screens comedy film a blockbuster & a 4000 + screens sci fi film a dud.

following to be the No1 actor. Even a solid movies find v tuff to put up good numbers at BO. Salman’s average movies do wonders at BO nd this s cos of his fan following and power. No one including SRK can can come closer to him in near future. SRK s declkng nd SK s raising with every movies.
