Jab Tak Hai Jaan has collected 11.03 crores in it’s second weekend, taking it’s cumulative 13 day total to Rs 109.44 crore nett.
The film showed good growth on it’s 2nd Saturday and Sunday, with around 30% growth each day.

Who says that genre is not directly proportional to a film’s collections. It is and it makes sense why a heavy duty action movie’s collections will be sky higher than an art movie’s collections… Some big actors have adapted the trend of working only in remakes of action and/or masala flicks that possibly only reflect big numbers, but not high acclaim or good ratings/reviews.
SRK has still achieved the most with JTHJ considering its genre and other obstacles.
We can’t deny the fact that every film SRK, Salman & Aamir do are going to be big money spinners, regardless of how it actually is. These 3 Khans’ have reached such a great point in their career that no other star has yet reached, not even Akshay Kumar respectively (considering the verdict and collections of Joker)

@Tejus: Yes I agree with you that ETT is an ATBB, but if that’s how ATBB are, then I pity Bollywoods fate. There was a time when I enjoyed watching movies like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ ‘DDLJ’ ‘KKHH’ and my special favorite ‘Veer-Zaara’. These are movies I haven’t watched any less than 10 times each, but I couldn’t watch ETT for the second time.
And sir, as you claim that Salman is the emperor of the box office, what sort of emperor is he that he couldn’t surpass the collections of 3 idiots with every advantage ..? Lol
