On his 49th birthday, Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has expressed his desire to work in the most popular franchise in Bollywood – Dhoom!
When a journalist asked SRK if he would be interested in doing the next Dhoom film, Khan said ”I am doing a film with Yash Raj and that’s ‘Fan’. If I get an opportunity, I would love to do it. I find it very cool.”
SRK was quick to add that Aditya Chopra, the producer of Dhoom films, is yet to approach him.
Dhoom is one of the most successful series in Bollywood. The first part in the series, released in 2004, did well at the box office. The second, featuring Hrithik Roshan, went on to be the highest grossing film in India and the third instalment starring Aamir Khan remains the biggest grosser in India and overseas.
With the cast of the film getting bigger with each new instalment, it’s safe to assume that it would either be Salman Khan or Shahrukh Khan headlining the next film in the franchise. Akshay Kumar would be a great choice too!

srk is a super thief and a technology genious and as usual jai dixit is not able to catch him how hard he tries. (supercop of india lol!!)
so he asks help from hrithik roshan to catch him. (who was a also a technology mastermind and is living a crime free life now)
and something something can be done to enhance the story.
Hrithik is still the best thief in Dseries. . No one can be better than him in that style. Amir has already proved it. Now it the terms of Srk/Salman who will again fail to match up him.
Aamir was the worst choice for Dhoom. He looked completely out of place, too short and stout to do such roles and that constipated look on his face was pathetic. Worst movie of his career..Aamir is better suited for roles like Lagaan, Rageela and Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.

This would be a great addition if SRK plays a baddie in Dhoom 4. Though, the bar has been set too high for now, it would be very difficult or to make an extremely engaging plot and a screenplay that needs to be etched out inorder for the next series of Dhoom to go bombastic! It could be either Salman/SRK to continue the series forward. As we have seen, Dhoom 3 – nothing except the performance of aamir worked in the movie, stupid film (big disgrace to the dhoom franchise). There isn’t a better looking thief than Hrithik you could ever ask for.
Victor for sure, should not direct the next part (his direction was pathetic). He had written perfect screenplays for both the first and second parts, while completely failing in the next one.
How, I wish Raj Kumar Hirani to direct the next part and ofcourse featuring SRK (Hirani has been longing to work with him since Munnabhai days) and Hrithik returning maybe as an undercover. Wow, could be interesting. Exciting days to come!

there is no point of having srk or bhai in dhoom series as they hv already done robbery in don2,kick and hny.so no novelty factor left.ny choice either akki or rk but then akki has done s26 so rk is the only choice left
@nipun lol john was best theif in dhoom series his style looks was much better than hr after john it would be salman to beat the best theif look wise,body wise,intensity wise,style wise salman is best because his style connect with common people as all his style has become trend no one can match salman.
I think saman should be in double role in doom 4 ,where chulbul pandey is helping abhiskek to catch devil . Salman should do more stunts as devil . Chased by chulbul pandey and abhishek
For heaven’s sake why would anyone want to see an old & ever-irritating Ging khan in Dhoom 4? If any the only role he would be best suited is the role played by uday chopra i.e ali other than that he doesn’t any other qualities needed to be a Dhoom series villian.
just imagine the blockbuster superstar salman or the thalaiva Rajnikanth in Dhoom 4, it would just create havoc everywhere, even in worst case scenario it would be collecting atleast 300 crores in india & 600 crores worldwide and if it is as good as dhoom 2 then sky is the limit!

Out of srk,akki,salman only srk has got some xperience to play negative roles & he was immensely successful in that so it is sensible to sign him in D4…I think he will set the bar very very high for salman in D5…jst saying

Aamir did what he can in d3 but dhoom of john abraham was still better movie than both d2, d3.
Personally I didnt enjoy dhoom 3 at all. Dhoom 1 was a fresh attempt. dhoom 2 was all about Hrithik and Aishwarya and cool robberies, but dhoom 3 was a deathly dull attempt to en-cash Brand Dhoom and Brand Aamir.
This is perhaps the only film of Aamir’s since 2000 which had no storyline. It was a cocktail of Prestige, dhoom 2 and the 80s cliched plot-twists.
Dhoom 3, I think purely worked because it came 7 years after dhoom 2. I dont think the makers will be able to get that kind of a success for dhoom 4 if they repeat their dhoom 3 mistakes. Srk, Salman may give the movie a headstart the movie will eventually tank if the content is terrible.
Moreover we have seen all the biggies in heist movies recently. Dont know how they will recreate the magic without being cliched!

@Don’t hate – Dhoom 3 didn’t feel like a Dhoom film to me. It was more like a revenge film. It was inspired from Nolan’s ‘the Prestige’ with a typical Bollywood emotional touch in it, where Aamir excelled, he was fantastic in emotional scenes. The story was hardly believable, a man will not suicide if his circus is being shut down (legally) and leave his two little sons alone in the world, again the bankers did nothing wrong, they had legal permission to do so, both sons gave up their life just to bring those bankers to bankruptcy, entire movie was full of loopholes with some eye raising stunts, which should have satisfied mass audience. Aamir must have taken huge money from yrf to do such movie.

I mean dhoom4 or 5. what if Salmans d4 will release on eid 2017 and srk’s d5 on diwali 2017. double dhamaka with too much fun.
