Happy New Year has recorded the 5th highest Monday collections of all time and the 2nd highest non-holiday Monday of all time. In the all-time list, Krrish 3 still stands tall with first Monday collections of Rs 35.91 crore – this was the same day (a day after Diwali holiday) that Happy New Year collected Rs 44.97 crore.
The first Monday business of Dhoom 3 will be the record to beat though – because even the opening day collections of non-holiday releases is less than the first weekday (4th day) of Dhoom 3. Staggering record. It will take something extraordinary to beat this record set by Aamir Khan last year. PK maybe, if it’s as good as 3 Idiots?

HNY opening is mindblowing, 2nd day was excellent, 3rd day sunday was decent as it didn’t grow much, 4th day monday is good, if hny trending good in 5th day i.e twesday then it will show jump in wednessday due to semi holiday, rest on depend 2nd weekned, hny is on the race for all time highest grosser

Thats the power of king khan, dont underestimate the power of King khan. be it non holiday or hoilday 3 records were broken ( Single Day, opening Day and opening weekend ), the monday collection shows its extra ordinary seeing the trend of the movie and story line. Its not having a tagline saying DHOOM or Krish its only the power of a common man….
This proves the movie is still going strong

Hny will collect 35cr in remaining 3day because it has not holidays in coming 3days like kick has.

My prediction for hny
1st week = 160cr around
2nd week = 40cr around
and rest = 20cr
lifetime for hny = 220cr only
result may come less than 220cr but not more than this.
