Hasee Toh Phasee has opened well in cities with average occupancy of around 30% for the morning shows. The opening is lower than Parineeti Chopra’s last release Shuddh Desi Romance, but that film released on lower number of screens.
There are reports that major cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Noida, New Delhi and a few others have picked to around 40% for the noon shows.
Dharma had organised several screening of the film this week and the pre-release reports were good (average rating on our review scale is around 3.5 stars). The response from theatres too seems to be pretty good, exhibitors that we spoke to say that the general response from the audience was positive.
For a film like Hasee Toh Phasee, it is important it puts up reasonably good opening day figures, as that will allow the film to grow over the weekend. Looking at the opening, we expect the opening to should be slightly higher than Yaariyaan, which had to compete against Dedh Ishqiya on Day 1.

dont be biased towards big movies and some section of stars only, that u shaw every single frame of them and being light of that stars to be in lime-light
I saw it yesterday, a little slow but superhit movie.
gunday will be a tri angle love story.word of mouth will be negative.but boc will be good because this year good flim is underperforming & average flim is doing well.
BOi decleared Jai Ho a SEMI HIT. so stop crying haters

but i can tell u that is 2 notch better than hashee to phasee
i had seen both and i am impressed with this ‘awake’ adaption
which inturn better than original film awake as original was khichdi because they are overpossesive for suspence.
But heartless is good except 2 bad songs brecks the rythm.
And performance from deepti naval and shekhar suman is top notch and jr. Suman is also good
worst part of film is leading lady .

Worst movie ever, parineeti is repeating her act since the first movie. Boring story and done to death sequences make this film very irritating.
@sagar,you better go and watch Dhoom 3 again.
