Happy New Year has crossed the 200 crore mark worldwide in just 4 days since its theatrical release. The film has now collected around 45 crore from overseas and 164 crore in India (gross collections includes entertainment taxes, net collections is around 124 crore in 4 days) – taking its worldwide total to Rs 209 crore.
The Shahrukh Khan starrer is the joint fastest film to cross 200, along with Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 which collected Rs 234 crore in 4 days.
Happy New Year has bettered SRK’s last release Chennai Express which collected around 192 crore in its first 4 days (including paid previews).
It remains to be seen if HNY can go on to beat the Rs 424 crore gross of Chennai Express.

Day 4 Comparison:Kick did 13.16 Crore, Dhoom 3 did 19.55 Crorewhile Chennai Express did 12.1 Crores on its Day 4 ( All Trade figures). so if hny failed to do more than kick it failed also to reach 200 cuz kick’s monday is last day of pre eid period. i am sure hny’s first week will tell the truth.

Now i understand why srk aamir hrithik r releasing thekr films in telugu n tamil. Ther is no correct trackimg for telugu films that is why they r manilulating the figures coming frm telugu n tamil. Every time releasing movies in regional languages n adding 10 -15 cr more to the actuals. Its nlt correct way to beat salman. Even adding them they r finding hard to beat salman.
200+ in 4 days is an outstanding number.
even after such a huge opening,,hny is on par with dhoom3 shows that how much grand success dhoom3 got last year.
i still believe that dhoom3 record might be safe as hny can go over 200 easily but to go at 280+ hny needs an outstanding run.
chances are less but no need to worry srk fans – kismat badi kutti chiz hai sali kabhi bhi palat jati hai.
so far,,hny has fared really really well acc to the expectations..
india collections are over my expectations but i wanted more from overseas market as srk is the most consistent star there.

When ppl talks about overseas collections then the majority comes due to Muslims living in abroad, middle east , pakistan etc that’s the reason khans have huge overseas collections but if you make a movie with the theme of indiawalle and patriotism it will not survive abroad for the obvious reasons. Please see the list of patriotic movies and their overseas collections for clarity.
HNY is not trending as Dhoom 3 but trend is at par of kick and CE. 250 Cr is still reachable.
All eyes are on weekdays collections. HNY should collect 160 cr till Thursday if it actually has to reach 250 cr mark. Second weekend I’m expecting 50 cr + .

so here is my 4th installment of hny’s another tortures 33 minutes only i can understand value of 33 minutes not srk he continue to show how bad man he is in his real life by making fool others. he never shut the door and each and every time only deepika come to his back and listen his bogus tortures dialouges and watch his overacting.
his competitor is busy to trained his partner when his partner do mistake he ready to treat him but srk comes and stop him and starting fight with him then he saves competitor also to show only we indians are saves others. in the dance competion he again save same child when he falling from human bridge but do you understand he is not dancing he only watching others and he had enough time to cover the 10 meter distance between him and child to save him afterall he is first super hero of indian cinema and better than hr in terms of making fool us. i remember a news of australia when 100’s people were push the train just becuz of a man is felt between train and platform. so saving others is a sign of humanity not only indiawaale. what you wanna show us other nations public or cruel and only we indians r only saviour. i m fully dispointed with this whole drama and remake of aata maajhi satakli’s satakli song. my rating for 4 th installment is -1/1 and for 133 minutes -2/4. wait till 4 pm i will comment my last comment.
@indicine we were previously assumed that in case of every movies till date of before HNY realised you and other site too published a particular day collection on next day after 10:30 am in morning even sometimes you update that still not recive all circuit collection still tuned we post collection in noon . but in case of HNY you and other are like superheroes you all are update collection in night even not wait for end of the night show why???? everybody inhurry????

Babaji’s HNY Review::
So i went to the theatre last evening with 2 different mindsets- The trailer was mediocre but indicine rated it 4 stars,so i was quite sceptical about the film.
I will be writing a hort review here coz no one likes to read a long one i guess.
STORY:Story of HNY is almost same as that of Dhoom 3 but with a different premise..the only difference being in D3 aamir was avenging for Jackie Shroff and here srk is taking revenge from Jackie shroff! still the story is pretty decent considering it is a Farah khan film.
DIRECTION:Farah Khan does an appreciable job as HNY is consistently engaging enough.Yes there are sequences that could have been avoided.Fight sequences were overstretched ones and neither appealing.
CINEMATOGRAPHY:HNY has been shot very well.Right from the first scene it gives a look of a big budget film,dubai has been captured well.
PERFORMANCES:SRK is as usual brilliant in this film,does well in emotional scenes but it is Abhishek Bachchan and Sonu Sood who are fab.Both are outstanding in their roles.Boman is also very good.Deepika is’nt as quite good as she was in CE but still does a commendable job.Vivaan is decent in his short role while Jackie Shroff is menacing enough for a villain.
MUSIC:Though many might disagree here but Satakli was the song i enjoyed the most followed by Manwaa lage and Lovely.Overall songs are decent and look good on big screen.
I was also elated to see “Babaji ka thullu” being said thrice.Also we get to see two of our indicine visitors in HNY.We get a glimpse of our dear Navin uncle,he was there with the Great Britain team to take part in WDC with some broad thigh girls,yes he was the same guy who kissed Boman while swapping the rooms.Also we get to see one of the many Dynamic’s impersonation of Nipun “Ni pung from Korea”..yes he was the little guy whom SRK saved from falling!!
But all is not well in HNY.There are logical lapses which can’t be ignored and even the people sitting beside me pointed these for ex:How did Charan Grover and WDC organizers never recognized Nandu Bhide?? Also the film is too lengthy,it takes you to sit for more than 3hrs which is really tedious and bcoz this the film lacks a repeat value and which i think is now evident from its dropping collections.
But still overall HNY is a complete family entertainer,though vulgar at times but still manages to win your heart.

hny good movie, but its not srk calibre, missing srk from baazigar, darr, ddlj, kkhh, khnh, devdas, swades,cdi.
