Aamir Khan’s Dhoom 3 has become the fastest film to cross the Rs 200 crore mark in India, faster than films like Krrish 3, Chennai Express and 3 Idiots – which are the only three other films to have done All India business of 200 crore or more.
Krrish 3 (including all versions) took 10 days to net 200 crores, while Chennai Express crossed the milestone at the end of its second week. The first film to do so, 3 Idiots, became the first film ever to collect 200 crore in its 9th week at the box office.

d3 on second sat colectd arnd 12 cr with aprox 3800 screens wid all languages widout any major relese.
weras ce on second sat had 1500 sreens n collectd arnd 8 crs with a relese of ouatimd.
congrats to d3 bt one fact wil remain is that ppl loved a accpted ce more than d3.

K3 was a better movie than D3 which is better than CE. D3 had a lot of collections due to:
1) Christmas factor
2) Franchise factor
3) Music Factor
4) Screen factor
5) Ticket factor
6) No Puja/Diwali factor
7) KK factor
8) YR factor
Why CE had high collection is a mystery. Movie is only good for first 15 minutes and intolerable after that. I think SRK has inflating pipeline to collections and collections are inflated greatly.
K3 collected 245 crores and could have collected 270 crores but for sex-kand RL.
In 2006 there was 15% difference in K2 and D3. history repeats it self and D3 will collect 280 crore.
