After two good days, Don 2 had a fantastic Sunday, which according to early estimates is around 18 crores (could be more). We contacted a few multiplexes late on Sunday and almost every late-evening, night shows in Mumbai, New Delhi, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mangalore were housefull. Infact, many had to return home disappointing as several shows were sold-out in advance.
This is a clear sign that the film has been liked by it’s target audience. Farhan Akhtar directed films have always under-performed at smaller single-screen dominated centers and it’s pretty much the same with Don 2.
Moving on, it’ll be interesting to see how Don 2 holds up on Monday. If it remains steady and trends similar to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, it’ll end it’s run as one of the biggest hits of 2011. In case it drops heavily, then 100 crores could prove to be difficult.

Good news guys..apart from india..DON 2 is excellent overseas..it has collected minimum 23.50 crores in overseas..n still some countries figures r remaining..!!

@arjun ready wasnt released during holidays but grossed more that raone crap in india which was released during diwali holidays. all you guys whining about salman movie is gonna flop and said ETT was offered to srk so it will flop and all ricshawala crap . let me give a point why EK tha tiger is going to a huge hit because even on this website salman has 9000 plus fans and srk has 7000 fans go check it right now on clicking their profile. i watched don 2, its a fantastic movie by srk and farhan but even srk starpower cant match salman’s star power otherwise srk would have had the same opening day collection but i dont hate srk, i think he acted brillintly in the movie and might win filmfare for it. both khans are huge but salman’s star power at this point is way huge than srk and aamir’s

Salman khan was best in 1990-2000s..his acting was really nice in MPK,HAHK,KKHH,Karan Arjun etc..but now his fans have increased..so he’s just making hit without good acting..coz of his fans..!! N crap movies like ready,bg..but wanted was way better..being a remake too.

salman cannot act even if his life depend on it. sallu is one of the worse actors ever in the history of cinema not just indian. He is just model turned superstar. He never learned acting. NEVER! Dabanng chulbul panday character was created to suit his personality & it worked. He can never ever become a different character.
