After two good days, Don 2 had a fantastic Sunday, which according to early estimates is around 18 crores (could be more). We contacted a few multiplexes late on Sunday and almost every late-evening, night shows in Mumbai, New Delhi, Noida, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mangalore were housefull. Infact, many had to return home disappointing as several shows were sold-out in advance.
This is a clear sign that the film has been liked by it’s target audience. Farhan Akhtar directed films have always under-performed at smaller single-screen dominated centers and it’s pretty much the same with Don 2.
Moving on, it’ll be interesting to see how Don 2 holds up on Monday. If it remains steady and trends similar to Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, it’ll end it’s run as one of the biggest hits of 2011. In case it drops heavily, then 100 crores could prove to be difficult.

Not if it drops like Ra One, which benefitted due to the 5-day weekend and barely did anything after that. But Don 2 is a good film, so yes.. it should easily cross the 100 crore mark :)

@Haroon, these are Hindi version collections only. So, if you include all versions, when the final collections come, it could be quite close to the Dabangg weekend, if not more.
Don 2 will easily cross 100 cr mark…. And the big thing is that next weekend is also festive as new year celebration…. So next week also it will maintain momentum and will easily cross 100 cr mark….
And the best thing is that the movie is fantastic…great performance by king khan, which will bring him best actor award this year also…
So the bottom kind king srk rules both boxoffice and million hearts…

Ek Tha Tiger is untested and original unlike ready, wanted, bodyguard. It will flop like VEER & YUVRAJ
Only way Sallu Lallu can deliver a BB is by south directors remaking their regional BB in Hindi.

don 2 is soo goood! it has to be realllllyyyy hit overseas because i went to see it yeasterday and the theatre has around 300-500 seats and it was all sold out! me and my family could barely get seats, and we got ot so good seats but the film was soooooooo ******* awesome! everyone should watch it! the whole theatre was going crazy and everyone was whistlig and clapping during the film! it has been extremely liked overseas! my rating would be 4.5/5!

Ek Tha Tiger will never had action fistfights as good as Don-2. Sallu is too bulky, muscular & non-agile. ETT can try hard to be Bourne movies but it will have lot more slow mos fights which are now boring.
ETT also dont have desi indian setting no masala. its guaranteed FLOP.

People on many website are comparing Ra.one and Don 2 with Bodyguard… they have 3D and Dubbed versions with more no. of screen and high ticket rate and mostly huge promotion but Salman Khan do not need any extra to make his Film hit at the Box office. He alone is a Hurricane !
