Dilwale is showing positive signs on Day 3 at the box office. At most places that we tracked, the collections until 5PM on Sunday was at around the same level as Friday or a little higher. At quite a few multiplexes, the film is witnessing close to 95-100% occupancy, but the limitation of shows is holding it back in several cities.
Unless there is further growth in business in the night, the film is looking at net collections of somewhere around 22-23 crore on Sunday.
The other movie that released this weekend, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani is performing very well too. The word-of-mouth is terrific and the film has grown at centres where it didn’t open well on Friday.
Maharashtra is super-strong for the film, it has managed to edge out Dilwale here. Even in the state of Gujarat, Bajirao Mastani is performing as well as the Shah Rukh Khan starrer. Mysore circuit too is now neck and neck with Dilwale. The film is looking at 3rd day collections of around 17-18 crore.

There is a huge wave of negativity involved. Yes negativity is there for almost all movies involving big stars by fans of other stars. But this is different. Many right wing hugely popular Facebook groups like “The Frustated Indian” and many more have come up openly in favor of Baajirav and targeting Dilwale. You can agree or disagree, but Dilwale is defenitely one of the most targeted movies in recent times. Innumerable shows of Dilwale have been cancelled in many regions due to protests and disruption.
Its a superb fight!! 18 cr for bajirao in 2300 screens n 23 cr for dilwale in 3000 screens!! Neck n neck!!
But dilwale is gonna stay ahead atleast this week, reason obvio is srk, genre n also screens!! Bajirao may jus match it on christmas weekend!!

I m just back frm watching Dilwale frm theatre it was housfull. Families r comming for dilwale which is a very positive sign. Each and everyone in theatre was loving it. The environment in theatre was outstanding. I hv never laughed this much in any movie. This is without any doubt the best entertainer of the year. I watch it second time and i enjoyed it more.
Varun alone can give 50cr+ opening weekend (eg-Abcd2). Varunwale gonna collect around 60cr on its opening weekend. SRK’s presence will add only 10cr to its total… Hahaha.
By looking at the negetivity and protests around such a good entertainer Dilwale its proved there is intolerance. Its sad bt its true. Bcz Dilwale is almost already a blockbuster in overseas. Its breaking all records.

i have been a regular visitor of indicine nd one thing i can say that most of the comments are baised nd it is natural too. if u r a fan of an actor it is natural but it doesnt mean that u start being harsh to other ones.
Dilwale could have made more if it had something new.it solely rides on stardom of SRK. And due to average content it is not performing upto expectations.On the other hand BM is getting beniffited due to this. SRK is wasting his talent from last 3 yrs. despite not being a SRK fan i used to love his movies.His last few movies that i loved were MNIK and RNBDJ.After that he has gone downhill in terms of quality. Hope he revives that with FAN .i have a lot of expectations from thai.
