Dhoom 3 has just completed its 2nd record-breaking weekend at the domestic box office. The film has collected Rs 38.85 crore in its second weekend to take its cumulative total to Rs 227.84 crore net.
Dhoom 3 has now crossed the lifetime business of Chennai Express in less than 10 days. The Aamir Khan starrer is likely to be the highest grosser of all time by the end of its second week.
In comparison, Chennai Express collected Rs 25.21 crore and 3 Idiots collected 34 crore in their second weekends at the box office. However, Krrish 3 continues to hold the record for the highest second weekend collections – the film collected Rs 39.74 crore.

5) distrutiors and theatre owners has got bigest profit share in chennai express and dhoom will not get because it released in more screens
6)holidays:ce=2 days for dhoom 3: 5 days (22.25,29,31,1)

Dhoom 3 has become the biggest grosser of all time in just ten days. The final collections of Sunday are still to come in but it is certain that it has crossed the 208 crore nett lifetime figure of Chennai Express. The business of Dhoom 3 (Hindi) in ten days is over 210 crore nett. The top nett grossers of all time at the moment are as follows. All figures approx and for Hindi versions only.
1. Dhoom 3 – 211 cr (still running)
2. Chennai Express – 208 crore
3. 3 Idiots – 202 crore
4. Ek Tha Tiger – 186 crore

Aamir’s BMW bike has given an excellent average of 22.78 crores per day in 10 days and people came to watch it even on non holidays while Srk’s passenger train got passengers only on holidays.lol
