Dhoom 3 has emerged as the highest grosser of all time ahead of films like Krrish 3 and Chennai Express. The film has broken second week records with business of around 68.5 crore net (including all versions), which is about the same as the first week collections of 3 Idiots!
Dhoom 3 has also become the first film to cross the 250 crore mark (Hindi version has collected 245.25 cr so far) and has an outside chance of being the first ever film to net Rs 300 crore in India.
Two films have released in theatres today – Arshad Warsi’s Joe B Carvalho and Ramesh Sippy’s all-time classic Sholay 3D – both of which are unlikely to pose any threat to the record-breaking run of Dhoom 3.

@sht opening clearly stand to weekend business not for first week and most of the time highest weekend movies got highest first week too but from week opening can’t be measured because from 4th day wom works not starvalue.
@aks happy u accept that ra1 is hit. I m only replying those people like u who accepting gajinis virdict but not ra1 so I explain it with the economics. Regarding sarfarosh some Amir fan shouting it should b hit it was just my reply to them. I also like that movie so as dhkmn and kabhi ha kabhi na but that dosent meant those were box office hit. And Karan johar have that habit to shower praise whoever coming to his show. There r many actors who worked in path breaking movies not only Amir

Now star value. Who said fanas weekend collection was more than kank. Don. Fanaa trend much better than kank and don. It means kank and don opened much better For fanna case wom played better that’s y it trend well and it’s second week collection were 14 cr compare to kank 10.5 and don 12.5. Rdb LRMB cdi all had similar kind of trending but open average good response and this reflect into subsequent week collections. Dhoom2 and oso had similar opening and trending. I m not biased toward any star. No one is in my relation.
@sht Ghajini verdict for atbb accepted for a reason as it broken the previous existing all domestic record and broke Gadar Distributer Share,the way you given profit margin to me than in that case Aashiqui2 should be Atbb not a BB,You not agree for Aamir’s success and his path breaking movies its upto you,i have no problem.Whatever the way you believe what you like & trust and i believe what i trust. No further arguments needed.in the same way i am surprised while Boi is not given Atbb verdict to Ce because it crossed 3i distributer share and net gross but the Boi explanation post updated by yash,i got the answer that why Ra1 was hit and Ce was only BB.
@Aks I m not against Amir infact if u check my comments on k3 threads I rate Amir second biggest star after srk in terms of fan following. But u r d one who questioning about ra1 virdict. And gajini dabangs verdict is not correct. Boi is big manipulator. First they upgrade gadar’s numbers from 70 cr to 76 cr. LRMB was first movie to cross gadars 70 cr mark then dhoom2 with 85 cr. but after year they reduced dhoom2 collection with 5 cr and increased in gadar’s collection with 6 cr. from where they brought 6 cr after 7 years. Actually they want to minimize the gap between dhoom2 and gadar so that they can easily justify the virdict of those movies. Oso also became victims of their manipulation. 3 idiots is guniune atbb because it’s collection intact for 4 years. Gajinis collection became cakewalk for every big movie within 2-3 years. In 4 years span following movies surpassed or came close to it
3 idiots dabaang ready bodyguard ett dabangs2 HF2 ra1 barfi roudi rathode, agneepath. Jthj etc in contrast 3 idiots record have crossed only 2 movie and that is after 4 years. And mark my word there will b only 2-3 movies that will cross in next 2 year. So gajini was just lucky with huge hype did 114 cr with 45 days open run. Else rbdj would be first movie to cross 100 cr.
