Agneepath exceeds expectations and creates history at the box-office on Thursday, as the film broke the opening day record of Bodyguard.
Even with lesser shows (due to it’s runtime), Agneepath’s Day 1 collections stand at around Rs 22 crores, according to early estimates.
The single screen business is comparable to Bodyguard, while at multiplexes Agneepath has managed about 10% better collections. Infact, the first day business is comparable to the second day collections of Ra One (Hindi only).
On Day 2, we expect the film to drop by around 25 – 30% as it’s a working day.It should remain steady on Friday – Saturday and pick up on Sunday. If it does, then weekend collections could be record-breaking at 70 crores+

Hrithik is good but not top 3 but top 4! First the three khans then hrithik ! Also I’m not saying he will never be top three but in the years to come he might jus even be #1 !

Amitabh Bachchan lost my respect the day he said Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol were good in znmd.. Amitabh is just jealous that the competition was between Abhishek and Hrithik and Abhishek is just turned out to be a sore looooser.. Players lifetime collections is one day collection of Agneepath. HAHAHAHA
So sad..these all remake films like Bodyguard,Ready,Singham,Ghajini and now Agneepath are opening very huge…so sad that originals like Don 2,ZNMD etc can’t open this much earnings..ab tho sabhi remake hi karenge..ek south ki ya hindi old film ka remake karo aur paise kama lo..huh..shame on bollywood..m a south indian so m saying this.
