Agneepath exceeds expectations and creates history at the box-office on Thursday, as the film broke the opening day record of Bodyguard.
Even with lesser shows (due to it’s runtime), Agneepath’s Day 1 collections stand at around Rs 22 crores, according to early estimates.
The single screen business is comparable to Bodyguard, while at multiplexes Agneepath has managed about 10% better collections. Infact, the first day business is comparable to the second day collections of Ra One (Hindi only).
On Day 2, we expect the film to drop by around 25 – 30% as it’s a working day.It should remain steady on Friday – Saturday and pick up on Sunday. If it does, then weekend collections could be record-breaking at 70 crores+

Abhishek, Bodyguard was a light hearted entertainer. Agneepath is more intense and heavy. So, we are still not sure if it can beat the lifetime of Bodyguard :) Let’s see.
Guys now there is nothing left to fight since everybody believes in reviews given by Komal Nahta of etc and Omer of Zoom channels & they given it 4 stars and told that Hrithik has done flawless acting in this movie, he sets a benchmark to all…………If any doubt kindly check anybody,s reveiw from any channel or news paper, everything will be clear. And its very true that everybody done their career’s best in this movie…… so Kudos to rest fo the AGNEEPATH’s team……………. So without leg pulling accept the truth there are too many records still left to break by this movie.
