Agneepath exceeds expectations and creates history at the box-office on Thursday, as the film broke the opening day record of Bodyguard.
Even with lesser shows (due to it’s runtime), Agneepath’s Day 1 collections stand at around Rs 22 crores, according to early estimates.
The single screen business is comparable to Bodyguard, while at multiplexes Agneepath has managed about 10% better collections. Infact, the first day business is comparable to the second day collections of Ra One (Hindi only).
On Day 2, we expect the film to drop by around 25 – 30% as it’s a working day.It should remain steady on Friday – Saturday and pick up on Sunday. If it does, then weekend collections could be record-breaking at 70 crores+

Even with all the promos we have seen more of Sanjay dutt and not hrithik so indicine stop making hrithik a superstar!!

agneepath has taken record opening not only due to hrithik but due to deadly sanjay dutt because he has the largest fan following at single screens and not to forget the chikni chameli.

Just see one guy on this page saying what!!! Oh God.. so the movie didn’t hv any impact on the audience.. but because of the trailer of Talaash!!!!!!!! I can say, without watching Talaash that it’s a flop film, the trailer is not encouraging at all!
People out there.. don’t read anyone’s negative comments.. just go and enjoy this piece of work.. it’s really a full entertaining package which is done by a v good director and a producer.. I never loved action films but this is just different, unique and a flawless film.
@ ronit….ha,ha,ha taare zameen par worked due to darsheel safary and fanaa worked due to kajol, talking about rang de basanti it was not aamir khan’s solo film and again it had talented madhavan and sharmaan joshi. It is clear that aamir depends lot on other actors or remakes to get going….poor guy.

First go and watch Agneepath. Its a classic. This is the kind of movie which stays in mind for a long time. Not like body guard which was a ok one time entertainer. I am a fan of all khans and HR. But really BG was not a movie which sud be all time block buster(ATBB). Sallu had done some ATBB movies before and they were great but BG is just a average movie. Stupid people like the ones who say BG is great has degraded the quality of movie making. Because of these stupid people we see films like lakshya, swadesh fail but movies like BG become ATBB.What I have noticed is that most of the people defeding BG don’t even know proper english to write a short comment properly. Sallu is gud or I can say used to be good but now he has also gone stupid just like his current fans. .
