- Agneepath holds the record for the biggest opening day.
- Both Agneepath and Ra One had two record-breaking holidays, but both films declined significantly on working days.
- Bodyguard remained consistent throughout, even on it’s first Sunday. Agneepath picked up significantly but Ra One collections, surprisingly, dropped on Sunday.
- Ra One released on maximum number of prints, followed by Agneepath and Bodyguard.
- Bodyguard had the maximum number of shows at multiplexes due to it’s runtime. Agneepath had the least number of shows (lesser than Ra One), again due to it’s almost 3 hour long runtime.
- Agneepath record opening day and weekend collections, has re-established Hrithik Roshan as one of the most bankable stars in the country.

agneepath is by far the best movie..why you compare it with ra one and bodyguard which releases on eid and diwali..nation wise celebration.. both are festivle time after affact of festival ramains for more than week but agneepath realeased on only one one national holyday ..al the remaining days are normal day..mind it i am a salman khan fan..but i said this from neutral point view..this movie is too good yar ..no comparision plz

Like someone said above, Agneepath should not be compared with Ra.One and Bodyguard since those two movies got a huge 5 day free weekends with no working days. If Agneepath was released in Diwaali or in Eid, the weekend collection itself would have been 100 crore! so Salman, SRK are that much loser who release their films o those occasion to save their ass!!

Dear Indicine team again I am telling please correct your figures as these genuine figure always comes from BOI and ETC and according to them(Komal Nahta) weekend collection is 68.5 Cr. So First day Gross collection 25 Cr and first day net collection is 23 Cr. then why your team shows wrong figures again and again. Even Karan Johar accepted 23Cr net collection on first day on news channels. Kindly correct this as soon as possible. And the people who are telling this collection is due to Sanju baba then why they are not answering that why Rascals and Chatur singh which was home production of Sanju baba has not lifetime collected even first day figure of Agneepath. So don’t do these things guys.No doubt Sanju baba has done a good job in this movie but credit is still with Hrithik Roshan even Sanju baba accepted this in his own party in front of all news channels.
Agneepath had a strong Monday as it collected around 7.50 crore nett as per early estimates and taking its first five day business to 69.50 crore nett,,,,,,,,,,,while bodyguard monday was above 9 cr,,,,,,so
while bodyguard 5 days bussines was 85.5 cr so/…………….
@KAMAL ALI the IMDB rating you are talking about is old agneepath not this one. the new agneepath is a load of carp. bodyguard content wasnt that good but was much better than this load of crap.
