Bang Bang continued its steady run in its second week at the domestic box office. The film has grossed Rs 308 crore worldwide, as the overseas markets have contributed nearly 75 crores to the film’s worldwide total.
Hrithik Roshan has become the first actor to deliver two back-to-back worldwide 300 crore grossers, as both Krrish 3 and Bang Bang have performed well all over.
Bang Bang should have collected much more in its first extended weekend itself, which would have ensured a much bigger total in India. But given the fact that the film was panned by the critics and the word-of-mouth was mixed to negative, Bang Bang will finish with lifetime business of 175 cr (including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions) in India – the second highest grossing non-festive release after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

Indicine never used all language collections for raone n don2 during those days..they used to show 115crs for ra1 n 106 crs for don2.but after k3 they changed their mind for their favorite actor hr n began to give collections for all languages. .total bias by indicine team??

all daily newspapers – TOI, HT, DNA have published the fact that the Roshans had given out ‘gross’ collections as ‘Nett’ figures, fooling the audience/fans.

People, understand the difference between holidays & festive season. Eid, Diwali & Christmas as considered as biggest festivals in India. Dussehra, Holi, Raksha Bandhan, Novratri n Bakrid are not big festivals are top 3. Like Indicine people happy to spend during these festivals but in Btown in last 5-6 years Eid & Christmas have given highest grosser of the year. Would like to see a highest grosser from Diwali next year 2015!!!!!!!! This year Diwali have less chances to give highest grosser of year, even if HNY beats Kick PK will overtake it within 2 months !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cristmas is not big festival in india only limited to some states and metros.only after gajini in 2008 christmas treated as favourable relese date.

Kick too you must learn to admit was double the entertainment dosage of Bang Bang- forget acting ability or content- charisma for our audience goes a long way- doesnt matter if Irrfan Khan is the best actor out of the Khans or Hrithik is the best dancer- the personality n charisma of a star can keep audiences coming back for more n more…. Content wasnt strong neither but good enough to hold the plot together. Kick had that star charisma/ personality in abundance hence its a better film- its not behind BB but way ahead…. In SA we loved the movie. I almost did not watch the movie because of the critics – i will not believe them in the future – many non-indians that watched the movie said that Hrithik could very easily be the next James Bond. He is so good. They loved Katrina as well. If there were more cinemas in SA that screened Indian movies the movie would of made much more money.
Bang Bang collects 168 crores in 15 days. Third week collections is expected to be in range of 8-10 crores & rest of weeks 2 crores…so it will end with lifetime collections of 178-180 crores which is very good result considering Critics panning it down unnecessarily, competition with Haider and not promoting the movie effectively during the last week before release. Without Haider it would have easily collected 200+ crores…
Happy that it is a blockbuster in overseas. Hrithik is definitely a King in making.

I watch Bang Bang in NYC and I enjoyed every Minuit of the movie. Katrine can act when she is paired oposite an actor she feels comfortable with like Akshay and Hritik
I have mixed feeling about Bang Bang business. It did around 50 cr. less, on what i expected. Fox certainly inflated the numbers by atleast 15-20%. As experts say, movie never fails, budget fail.
