As a 2009 New year special, we start this new section on our site called “Ask Us”. Its pretty darn straight forward.

Have any query / question about stars, movies, box-office or anything related to Bollywood? Ask Us! Just submit your question(s) below, in the usual comments section. We will try and answer as many questions as we possibly can.

Note – Questions should only be in English and try to be as clear with your question as possible, it will help us understand better.

    1. Original Malayalam film was titled “Kadha Parayumbol”. The Tamil remake was titled Kuselan.

    You mean De Dana Dan? The star cast is Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Film will release in September.

    Sorry for the delay. Answered your previous questions. Regarding Saif, his next is Love Aaj Kal directed by Imtiaz Ali. Preity’s career as a lead actress in high budget commercial films is as good as over. She is isn’t married, currently dating industrialist Ness Wadia.

    1. So far yes, Farhan has won awards both at Star screen awards and at Stardust

    1. The film was sold for 35 crores. The opening week nett gross could be around 17 crores. If the movie sustains in the second week, it could just about manage a hit. Most likely to end up as a average – above average grosser.

    2. Dulha Mil Gaya will most probably release in May, the film has been in the making for a long time now! My Name Is Khan will release late November.

    3. Yup around that figure. Ghajini grossed more than 200 crores.

    1. Amitabh in 1984, Aamir Khan in 2003 and Shahrukh Khan in 2005.

    2. Amitabh Bachchan, SRK, Salman, Aamir, Akshay.. In that order.

    3. Yes, SRK’s last 3 films were blockbusters. But he’s not the first actor to do so.

    4. All in their early 40s!

  • how can you make a small step to become a big star in bollywood? to even start? get a chance? without getting embarassingly dismissed? how do you become noticed by big people? without even acting? where can i go to start acting seriously? have the starts now only become noticed because they knew big people,? i want to make MY mark!

    Females who are short (Rani) with slightly darker complexion (Kajol) can make it to the big league. Dont loose hope, if acting is your passion, try joining an acting school and work your way up. With a bit of talent and a lot of luck, you just might make it! :)

    Dev D has received extreme reactions. There are many who have loved the film and the way it has been presented! The movie is doing decent business at the BO

    Our opinions on Dev D was totally mixed. While some in our team loved it, some other totally rejected it. The film has received an extreme response its either hate or love. So we decided not to review the film

    Yes Andaaz Apna Apna flopped at the box-office!! There are so many predictions made, by so many astrologers. One even said CC2C will be the biggest hit ever!

    6. Hrithik Roshan, most likely! I dont think your King Kumar has any chances. But even if he does win, he will reject it and award it to Aamir. He dedicated both his Padma Shri and Screen Award to Aamir!!! Screen awards is fine, but Padma Shri? Hmmm..

    1. The film is releasing on that number of screens with multiple shows per screen.

    2. Yes, Shabana Azmi is a part of My Name Is Khan. The complete cast of MNIK is quite long as the film has a lot of characters. And yes, Sugandha Garg is a part of the film, she confirmed that in a recent interview.

    3. There are so many, it depends on what your definition of most awaited is. To name a few apart from the obvious Hrithik – SRK – Aamir – Akshay films. Delhi Belly, Delhi 6, Veer, Teen Patti, London Dreams, Dhobi Ghat.. So many movies to look forward to in 2009.
