Actor John Abraham, who has shared screen-space with Akshay Kumar in several comedy movies, has said that Akshay’s journey in the film industry has been very inspiring for him. He also called the superstar a self-made man.
“Akshay’s journey in the film industry has been very inspirational. He is a self-made man himself. He got into the industry in around 1985 and I got in around 2003, but our journey has been similar. Although he is a much more successful actor than I am and I respect him a lot” John said on the TV show ‘Yaar Mera Superstar’.
John also credited his growth as an actor in the comedy genre to Akshay.
“We have done three movies together – ‘Garam Masala’, ‘Housefull 2’ and ‘Desi Boyz’. I love comedy as a genre and whatever I have learned in comedy, it’s from him. That is the reason I call him ‘guruji’ and he calls me ‘sundi’,” he added.
John awaits the release of his action film ‘Rocky Handsome’ this weekend. The film will be up against last week’s release Kapoor & Sons and the Hollywood’s superhero film ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’.
The episode of ‘Yaar Mera Superstar’, where John will be talking about Akshay and a lot more about his career, will be aired on Tuesday.

A man from d waiter to the one of d biggest movie star of our country is quite phenomenal and dat too without help of any big banner in film industry. He always worked with small banner.Big banners didn’t tuk him unlike srk or else his journey ld ve been bit easier. One thing which always lock 2 my head s dat for his ordinary character in yeh dillagi he got nominated for best actor and his next nominat had to wait for 15 year till namaste london wen he started his pick and in between he gives some extra ordinary work..the reason behind it was yeh dillagi was from yash raj banner and dat wy I feel srk achievement ld nt ve been same if he had not got opportunity from big banner.
It gives a feeling dat with hardwork dedication and bit of luck to your side one can achieve any height.

First they did Garam Masala together. it was a Hit by collecting 30 Cr in 2004. After They Did Desi Boyz also this film did well at Box office and get an Average tag by collecting Above 50 Cr in 2011. & Finally they delivered Housefull2 a 100 Cr ( 106 cr ) grosser. remember it was first movie which enter both the superstar in to 100 cr club.
Both are best friend and Lucky for each other.
now they doing Dhishoom ( Akshay in a camio ) and this time also they recreate the magic at Box office.
Hope they also do Housefull4, Hera Pheri 4 & Welcome 3.
Akshay’s career has been extraordinary.

Every one is self made man mr john. tusar Kapoor is a son of yesteryear superstar jitendra so as mr abhishek bachhan . But both of them are flop solo actor where as salman khan,amir khan and hrithik rosan were born in filmy khandaan and plp think these star kids are superstar today because of their parents which is 100% not true.
