Short filmmaker Ullhas PR on Monday filed a police complaint against Amitabh Bachchan, accusing him of taking more time than mandated while singing the national anthem during the Twenty20 World Cup clash between India and Pakistan.
The complaint was lodged at the New Ashok Nagar police station in east Delhi.
Bachchan sang the national anthem on March 19 at the Eden Garden in Kolkata along with thousands at the sprawling stadium — before the high-voltage match began.
Ullhas told IANS: “Amitabh Bachchan sang the national anthem in 1 minute 10 seconds while the mandatory time is 52 seconds. One can take two or three seconds more or less while singing the national anthem but Amitabh crossed the mandated time limit.”
In his complaint, Ullhas also said that Bachchan used the word “Sindhu” in place of “Sindh” while singing the anthem.
The filmmaker had on November 25 last year filed a police complaint against Bollywood actor-producer Aamir Khan for his remarks on intolerance in the country.
Earlier, he lodged a complaint against Aamir Khan following the release of his film ‘PK’, in which he referred to policemen as “thulla”.

well, even though I respect Amitabh Bachchan sir…. he should have known the mandatory time before singing it in front of such a large audience!
Mispronouncing is also quite a careless mistake for this method actor!

Ullhas PR is remarking each incident so accurate.but one thing till now he didn’t remarked,he should filed case against courts for delaying India’s biggest criminal/terrorist salman khan,he should ha filed a case against salman for roaming outside Even after taking life of innocent man,black bucks,chinkara an beating women.
Anyways I personally felt BIGB of pronounciating the anthem in wrong was from the start itself.it’s a shame on him for pronounciating our anthem in wrong and unpleasent way.though sindhu/sindh is same ,nothing wrong with that.but his crow like voice with unpleasant voice made our national anthem insulted that day,don’t know who allowed him to sung him,even a child could have sung that in a Better way that 70 year BIGB couldn’t did.a big shame on him….

What type of people are living in India man Mr.Bachchan sang the anthem very beautifully and fluently. I am not Indian but the way he sang the anthem made me want to stand up in respect.
This guy cannot bear Amitabh Bachchan saheb wasting 18 seconds but he will now himself waste a lot more time by lodging this useless complaint.

Basically, the national anthem had been written by Rabindra Nath who is Bengali. In Bengali, Sindh is spoken as Sindhu. Second see the intention not the clerical mistakes. Why not this film maker files a case against JNU activists and Owaisi.
Further, in his complaint Mr. Ulhas (dumbass) PR also stated in the bottom end of the page,
PS: Mr. Amitabh Bachchan also denied to do a brief role in his short (idiotic) film, which he thought was Oscar worthy………
and…suddenly he started singing, the “Jabra” song in 29 languages with no grammatical errors…dressed in “Gerua” colours……and acted like a normal srk fan….talking anything and everything that made no sense…..for example…..the upcoming Table Fan movie is Oscar worthy, Jabra is Grammy worthy.. and such similar things……………lolz.

AB did a gd job….regrding timing and all …i thnk his advisors …ab himself..organisers shld hv tkn care of dat as its national anthem and dr is a protocol and it shld b followed…and for wrong pronounciation ..well it wasnt intentional nor insulting nor deliberate….but definitely Ab or anyone singing shld tk care though no matter how much u rehearse mistakes do hppn…
Lastly now if if court finds him guilty…dn wat……jail…fine…any of those is not desirable and its not justice…i hope courts dnt waste tym on it and dismiss it
