I geniunely think Akshay Kumar could be back with a bang next year.
- Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 (OUATIM 2) should be a good film, something Akshay has not had in the last few years, and coupled with Ekta Kapoor’s promotion should do well. My Prediction: 65 crores +
- Rowdy Rathore has generated a good hype, and with action being the flavour of the season this could well be a success for Akshay. Also the movie carries far more mass appeal than OUATIM 2, if it goes down well with masses this could be a return to form for Khiladi Kumar. My Prediction: 85 crores +
- Housefull 2 I am not expecting much from. This brand of cinema has never appealed to me much, but it does to some and will probably do very well. However, the Akshay Kumar brand of mindless comedies does not sell as well as it once did (note: Thank You) Not my kind of film but will probably do very well. My Prediction: 75 crores +
- Joker 3D is a worry, I am not too convinced it will open well and Shrish Kunder is at the helm, his last script Tees Maar Khan was shamefully bad. I think this could well be a downer and big flop. My Prediction: under 50 crores
- Khiladi 786 could go either way, a lot depends on whether it releases on Diwali and alongside SRK’s next. If it does, it could well go the Action Replay way, however if it manages to stay clear it should do well in its opening weekend, particularly at mass centres, however given its a script written by Himesh Reshammiya’s, chances of sustaining are close to zilch. My Prediction: 60 crores+
So to summarise, I reckon Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2 will be Akshay’s best film, Rowdy Rathore his biggest hit, and Joker 3D a disaster. Could potentially be a superb year for Akshay, with 3 hits, 1 average grosser, and one unfortunate flop.

khiladi 786 nd joker not lukin good., bt other 3 muvis hav great chances to do well,if promo,songs publicity nd release date r gud…my vote is 4 OUATIM 2…it shd hav better script 4 sure…:)
I am a Salman Khan fan. I like Akshay too. Rowdy Rathod is not slapstick comedy. It’s a good movie with action in it. Akshay have double role in the film. I saw the Tamil version Siruthai starring Karthi. It was a good movie.

Rise of salman was the biggest cause of akshay downfall….in india only two stars rules.SHAHRUKH KHAN and Antishahrukh khan..
In past akshay was d second one and now its salman khan..so not much chance for akshay as long as salman is competing srk,,
aamir and hirithic are just two exceptions as they niether compete nor take these things in account

My prediction:
Housefull 2- Huge star cast, eye catching promos, sequel to one of the biggest hits of 2010, Saji-Sajid-Akshay combo’s comeback: 90+ crores
Rowdy Rathore- Akki’s return to action. Prabhu Deva who directed super hit Wanted. Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has a good name. Akshay + Action is enough tomake a film hit: 125+ crores
Joker- Sci- fi film. Interesting. But directed by Kunder who the public hates. Should still to prove to be good if the content is gud: 75+ crores
Khiladi 786- Action Comedy. Akki’s return to Khiladi series. However, stars Himesh Reshmiya who also wrote the script: 60+ crores
OUATIM2- Ekta Kapoor- Rajat Arora- Milan Luthria’s combo comeback. Akki in a never seen before avatar.Story and performances expected to be fantastic. Has an incredible prequel for support: 125+ crores

Well the above figures can go more higher than 100 crores i think biggest will be OUTIM and Rowdy Rathore, but useless Farah and Shirish should learn something that only chamak dhamak dont work, if shirish’s JOKER beocme flop then he should not direct any more film, Joker posters are good but pls no nonsense jokes where ppl dont even

I think this year akshay will rock n no other actor touched to akki because akkis this year four release so definitaly housefull 2, rawdy rathore, outim 2 has been 100 cr + films n now report housefull 2 crossed 100 cr + so its effect on rawdy rathore so rawdy is again super hit means 125 + and its effect means two sequensaly hit so public has definetaly show next movie so again outim 2 is will be super hit or blockbuster movie and this movie well so its effect joker so joker has been opening well be recorded in box office so 1 week best for akki so four superhit this year so he will be big star this and next few year again jalwa of akki remind 2007 to 2009 and one thing saying only one actor in bolly who is one year four and more films hit or flop but this year four films will be superhit so no other actor in bolly which will be four or more films in bolly means salman, shahrukh has been one film one year so actually will be hit film so its market high but akki ka dhamaka to ek bar aata hai magar char-panch saal hilta nahi
