Akshay Kumar’s Airlift is the first big release of 2016. It’s also the first big clash of the year as Balaji Motion Pictures’ Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 is also scheduled to release on the same day.
The clash is going to be interesting because Airlift is not the sort of film that carries mass-appeal, so business will be limited to multiplexes – where Akshay Kumar films haven’t really opened to high occupancies in recent times. On the other hand, Kya Kool Hai Hum 3 is a sex comedy and comes under a popular franchise. The two films won’t affect each other’s business, nor will there be a shortage of screens.

Airlift is already a profitable film for the makers. Akshay hasn’t charged a fee for the film, but has taken the satellite rights and will take a share if the film is profitable.
Airlift has to collect around 67-70 crore in India to recover costs and around $2.5 – 3 million from the overseas markets.

But in Overseas can’t say anything because last year his Baby (a same genre & an out an out class film or Multiplex friendly film) underperform at Overseas & collect very little amount of money even lower than GIB,SIB(both masala entertainer) & Brothers(Carryed Extremely Negative WOM).
Now if talking about KKHH 3.It will collect well on Weekend & will collect some money on Weekdays due to Franchise factor but will be a Bomb at Overseas for sure.

chances are more for blockbuster that’s why don’t spend so much money on making film if the content is good promotion is good then very much a movie chances for hit/super-hit or blockbuster.
Still feel in PRDP no need for huge set and spend so much money what will happen if Salman khan is not belongs to king family rather he belongs to big businessman family the content remain same then there was no need for big sets and it can save lots of money, is it was the budget was low and chances for movie to became blockbuster was very easy. Now the producer need to think to maintain the budget within 100-crores for any movie.

Promotion is good ,this much promotion akki do 4 every movie so nothing exceptional.
