Actress Kriti Sanon’s debut film Heropanti did well at the domestic box office, her second film with a major superstar like Shah Rukh Khan, has performed extremely well in the overseas markets, but turned out to be a under-performer back home in India.
But Kriti says, the film has helped her tremendously and the fact that she has now got noticed all over the world, is a big deal for her.
Talking about the box office outcome of Dilwale, Kriti said “There was a lot of pressure on me when I signed Dilwale and though it did not do as well in India, overseas the business was crazy despite competition from another film.
“It opened in places where Hindi films are never screened. My first film was a hit but not many saw it. But getting noticed all over the world is a big deal for me” Kriti said.
Her next film is opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, under Dinesh Vijan’s direction.

Its ok but she was noticed in Heropanti . For me she was the only bright spot in Heropanti . Maybe she did Dilwale to work with SRK, Kajol, Varun and Rohit Shetty . But now after Dilwale i want her to do good movies so that she can make a mark for herself . She is extremely beautiful and now just needs one or two good performances then people will start following her .
