Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar will begin shooting for his most-awaited film ‘Robot 2’, the second schedule of which begins in Bolivia next month.
The short first schedule of the Rs 350 crore film was completed in Chennai. The cast and crew will now move overseas to begin the first major shooting schedule.
Akshay, who awaits the release of ‘Airlift’ tomorrow, has been training in different forms of martial arts to play the main villain in the film.
Directed by Shankar, Robot 2 will be the costliest Indian film of all time. The budget of the film is said to be more than the combined budget of both ‘Baahubali’ films. It stars Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, Amy Jackson and Akshay Kumar.
Robot 2, titled Endhiran 2 in Tamil, will release in theatres in 2017.

My excitement for Robot 2.O is increasing day by day . Robot was a benchmark in Indian Cinema in terms of VFX and Scale . This movie looks like a fusion of Bollywood and Kollywood . Because of Rajni Sir it will do record breaking business in South Centres and because of Akshay it will do huge in Hindi Centres . Because of Sequel factor, starcast, vfx and scale it will do huge in overseas markets as well . The budget is too much but then the movie will be shot and released in 3D . Akshay has not got enough opportunities to play negative roles but now he has a chance to prove everyone wrong and showcase his versatility . If this movie releases on Diwali or Christmas 2017 then all records can be broken badly . Waiting for 2.O !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Before Release the film ‘ I ‘.The makers announced its budget 185Cr but after release its actual budget declared 100Cr.
Like that The makers of Robot 2 are promoting their film in the same way & announcing 350Cr Budget but In the time of release it’s actual budget will be around 200Cr or even less.
