Q. Can Anyone beat Salman’s 3 back to back 100 crore distributor share record (which would become 4 back to back after Sultan). And what will be the opening of Sultan on Holiday?
A. Records are meant to be broken. About 3-4 years ago, 100 crore (net) was a massive achievement. Now, it’s no big deal. With increase in the number of multiplex screens and ticket prices, 175 – 200 crore will be more easily achievable in the near future. So 3 back-to-back 100 crore distributor’s share, shouldn’t be difficult to achieve in a few years from now. Aamir might achieve the same record with the release of Dangal. He already has two back-to-back 100 crore domestic share films (Dhoom 3 and PK). As for Sultan releasing on Eid holiday (certain now, otherwise YRF would’ve announced a final date if they were not targeting Eid holiday), it should record the highest single-day and opening day collections. The target would be 45 crore plus, but a total of more than 40 crore looks certain.

Aamir will break it with DANGAL but Salman with SULTAN that should be 4 back to back,the buzz of of this film is really huge the sky is the limit for this film opening especially on Eid.

This has been an interesting year so far . We have seen Airlift, Neerja, K&S, TJB, Ki & Ka, Baaghi, H3 and UP . On the other hand we have also seen Fan, Fitoor, Rocky Handsome, Azhar and Sarbjit . Sultan will be the 1st event movie of 2016 . Salman has been on a terrific record since 2010 and now how will audience react to Sultan will be exciting . It is releasing on Eid so opening day collections will be huge and also the weekend . The real story will be on the weekdays . If Sultan is similar to Dabangg or better than it can create a huge impact on the lifetime collections . If it is a typical Salman movie than it will not do more than 250 CR+ . !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Salman is achieving today is absolutely magnificent. But as time will pass (with increasing screens and ticket prices) it will get easier to achieve these landmarks.
So records being made today will get easier to break let us say 10 years down the road. Like when Ghajini had crossed 100 cr in 2009 it must have meant a very big moment then but 100 cr today is very much achieveble.
Speaking overall and do not mean to say that every record will be broken easily as you also need guys like Khans, Akshay, Ajay, Hrithik to bring the audience in the theatres.
So a dumb bhai fan (quite obvious) asked a silly question comparing his idol with legends and trolled badly by indicine.
How could they consider Salman a successful star when he has struggled for most part of his career giving disasters on regular basis before South movies came to his rescue and he began churning out one crap after the other.

Set to give his fans a taste of variety, superstar Shah Rukh Khan has revealed his three upcoming on screen avatars– a dwarf, a guide and a warrior.
Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up with directors Aanand L Rai, Imtiaz Ali and reuniting with close friend Aditya Chopra for three big projects.
It has been speculated that the 50-year-old actor is playing a dwarf in Rai’s film, a guide in Ali’s next and a warrior in movie with Chopra.
While Shah Rukh hasn’t taken names, he has confirmed the roles he is set to take upon, in a Twitter post.
“I am a Warrior, a Dwarf & a Guide. I am not what I ought to, want or hope to be… I am all that & I am what I am. My two bits on my upcoming ‘roles’,” the “Fan” star tweeted.
