Salman, Parineeti, DDD cast perform at AIBA Awards: Photos

Salman Khan, Parineeti Chopra and the star cast of Dil Dhadakne Do were in Dubai last weekend to perform at the Arab-Indo Bollywood Awards. Salman’s was easily the most keenly-awaited performance of the evening, as the superstar danced to some of his most popular songs.

Like we mentioned in the second weekend box office report, a film like Tanu Weds Manu Returns – a medium budget film without a major male lead star – is competing with some of the major grossers in the history of Indian Cinema. Only Aamir Khan’s PK, the highest grosser ever, stands tall in the list of highest second weekend grossers.  

Bangistan First Look – Riteish Deshmukh

The first look of Bangistan, a film that is scheduled to release with ‘Drishyam’ on July 31, is out. Directed by Karan Anshuman, Bangistan also stars Pulkit Samrat in the lead. The film has been produced by Excel Entertainment.

India’s most bankable superstar Aamir Khan was spotted at a special screening of Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. Sources say, Aamir will be the voice of the dog ‘Pluto’ in the film. The makers, however, have denied the news. Talking to reporters, Aamir said “Pluto is a planet, right? I don’t know. I haven’t seen the film yet. Pluto is his name?”

Diwali 2016 and 2017: Ajay Devgn to release ‘Shivaay’ and ‘Son Of Sardar 2’

Ajay Devgn has announced yet another film for Diwali and this time around it will be his ambitious directorial venture ‘Shivaay’, which is scheduled to release during Diwali 2016. Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions had announced ‘Shhuddhi’ for Diwali, but the Karan Malhotra film that was supposed to feature Salman Khan in the lead, has now become a Varun Dhawan – Alia Bhatt starrer.

Bezubaan Ishq Trailer

Here is the official trailer of Bezubaan Ishq, which marks the return of Aishwarya Rai’s lookalike Sneha Ullal – who was launched by Salman Khan in the 2005 film Lucky: No Time For Love. The film is a story of three characters namely Suhani (Mugdha Godse), Rumzum (Sneha Ullal) and Swaagat (Nishant Malkani).

PK Worldwide Box Office Collections

PK has grossed Rs 676 crore worldwide and should eventually become the first Indian film to gross Rs 700 crore worldwide. The film has collected more than $7 million (record) in China in just 5 days since its release. The Rajkumar Hirani blockbuster also collected a record-breaking Rs 340.9 crore in the domestic market and went on to do business in excess of Rs 200 crore overseas.

Priyanka Chopra won’t perform her stunts in Gangaajal 2!

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who until now has done a lot of action in films like ‘Don 2’ and ‘Mary Kom’, has decided not to perform her action stunts when she plays a cop in ‘Gangaajal 2’. A source close to the film says “Priyanka won’t perform any of the action sequences in the film. There are important stunts that cannot be done away with either.
