After acquittal, Salman thanks fans for support and good wishes

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan thanked his fans for the support and good wishes, after the Jodhpur court acquitted him of all charges in the Arms Act case. Besides the cases of poaching of endangered antelopes under Wildlife (Protection) Act, a case under sections 3/25 and 3/27 of the Arms Act was filed against Khan for allegedly keeping and using the fire arms with expired licence in the alleged poaching of blackbucks in Kankani near Jodhpur on October 1-2, 1998.

Court to announce verdict on Salman’s Arms Act case on January 18

The Jodhpur Sessions Court will give its verdict on the Arms Act Case, which involves Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, on January 18 2017. A case was registered against Salman under the Arms Act for alleged possession and use of arms with expired license during poaching of two blackbucks, a protected animal under the Wildlife Protection Act, at village Kankani near Jodhpur in October, 1998.
