Salman Khan cleared of all charges in 1998 case

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was cleared of all charges in the Arms Act case, which was registered against in October 1990 for alleged use and possession of arms with an expired license.

Salman’s 0.22 rifle and 0.32 revolver had expired licenses and cases were filed under various sections, which had maximum sentence between three to seven years.

The actor was present in the court with his sister and advocates, when the verdict was pronounced.

Of the four cases against him, Salman has already been acquitted in two cases of poaching by the high court while a third case of poaching is in its final stage.
