Pyaar Impossible, is the second production venture of Uday Chopra (first was Yeh Dillagi in 1994). Directed by Jugal Hansraj under the Yashraj Banner, the movie is written by Uday Chopra himself and has Priyanka Chopra as his female lead. Anupam Kher and Dino Morea have supporting roles . The promos looked good and the music has done well too. But does the film entertain?

In India its the leading men who get audiences to theaters during the initial weekend. But Ashutosh Gowariker’s Whats Your Rashee starring Harman Baweja lacked star-value and was expected to pick up, with good word of mouth, after the slow start on Friday. And that’s exactly what happened, the movie started very slow (30 – 40%) and picked up during the weekend at multiplexes (60%), but unfortunately the audience verdict is a big thumbs down, which should result in a mighty drop in collections on Monday. The Oscar nominated director of Lagaan returns after working with 3 of the biggest stars in the country Aamir Khan (Lagaan), Shahrukh Khan (Swades) and Hrithik Roshan (Jodhaa Akbar).. comparatively What’s your Rashee is a much smaller movie starring Priyanka Chopra in 12 different roles and Harman Baweja as the most eligible bachelor. Yet the expectations are sky high and understandably so. But what unfolds in this terribly long movie on Sun Signs, is Gowariker’s worst work in a long long time. A movie that not just falls way below expectations, but surprises you with its mediocrity. Is this really, for real, an Ashutosh Gowariker directed movie?
