Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has done well across the country, but circuits like Mumbai, Delhi/UP, East Punjab, Mysore and Rajasthan have done outstandingly well.
Others circuits like CP Berar, Central India, Nizam, West Bengal, Bihar are below the mark – only if compared to massy entertainers like Dabangg 2 and Ek Tha Tiger. But business at almost every mass-dominated circuit is way ahead of all previous Ranbir Kapoor starrers, a sign of the actor’s growing fan-base in smaller centres.
Overall, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani is a massive hit. It has remained steady at major cities on Monday and should continue it’s good run in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

@hrithik. Actor’s face shud be in the poster or not, depends on star’s permission. Salman fans felt cheated when they went to watch Main and mrs khanna coz salman was there only for few mins but were promoted as salman movie.
SRK did extended special appearance in so many movie such as billu barber, Army, Hey Raam, Dulha mil gaya, Shakti etc etc. Even ur salman did in many such as KKHH, No entry, Main aur mrs khanna etc etc. In these movies, u can see SRK/salman will be credited under special appearance OR it will be written ” thanking SRK/salman” or Thanks to SRK/salman.”
But in Saajan and Jeet, salman had parallel role to main actor but secondary to Sanjay and sunny. More importantly salman played second fiddle in these movies not bcuz of his huge heart but bcuz Sanjay and sunny are bigger star than him at that point of time. Salman and Aamr became just star with their first film. Only hrithik became superstar with his first movie and may be rajesh khanna. got it?
