Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani has collected Rs 20 crore+ on it’s second day at the domestic box office, taking its 2 day total to around 39-40 crores. The film picked up at several key centres on Saturday, which is outstanding as films that release on 3000+ screens and run at 70% occupancy on it’s opening day, tend to drop by around 15-20% on it’s second day.
YJHD has also shattered all previous non-holiday records – Salman Khan’s Dabangg 2 had collected Rs 35 crores in 2 days.
The first weekend business is likely to be around 62-65 crores and the film might cross the 100 crore mark by the end of Week 1.

Please remember 2009, srk in his golden phase, aki is no1 that time, salman gave biggest hit wanted but saif deepika starer love aaj kal break all opening record in both domestic and oversease record and lak become 2nd highest grosser of that year after 3i beat wanted, kambact ishq, and billu, do you thin saif is better than srk or salman, aki. Normali its happen when the films music become popular. But wait yjhd life col, mark my word it can’t cross 125cr. And yjhd not break d2 record why salman haters try to create this. Just finished watching YJHD and plz dont compare RK with Aamir lol if this kind of acting can be compared to Aamirs performance then it will be an Insult to Aamir …This was pretty ordinary acting and nothing great.wihtout promotions and Ipl factor i bet this movie would have not crossed 10 crores in a single day… it will fall from monday onwards…not a out of the world story but as an Aamir khan fan iam more than happy bcoz if Movies like this can do 60+ weekends then Dhoom 3 will do something unheard iam now super confident Aamir will take Indian box office to next level that is 250 crores net within India

ranbir has broken few records with YJHD (though still doubtful, as there is no official confirmation).. akshay n srk will make records in eid (again doubtful due to clash).. hrithik n aamir will surely break many records with K3 n D3.. but wait there’s a man who goes by the name of salman khan!!! eventually he will break all records.. salman khan is at his most dangerous when u underestimate him.. there will be no salman khan release this year.. his huge fan base are eagerly waiting for his film.. the wait for 1 year is too much for them to handle.. they will throng to the cinema halls whenever it releases.. n u know what happens next!!! n not to forget there’s also kick in eid next year.

2. Aditya Roy Kapoor is another reason that People wants to watch him again after huge success of Aashiqui 2…
Salman i agree is super megastar but when it comes to quality & quantity Aamir will be my choice and box office potential of Aamir is unmatched thats why even at its peak Salman could not cross 3 idiots in India itself leave overseas. Srk haklaa is finished .HR is good but still its Aamir v/s Salman
Nah.. u guys could NEVER compare YJHD with JTHJ!! the first one is boring with no content.. the second one is a meaningful film, interesting, and I saw it 3 times at cinema ( YJHD did well because of Ranbir who’s amazing actor and the promos encourage anyone to go and watch it.. therefore it did well at the box office. I love Ranbir and I loved all his films specially Sawaariya which failed at the box office but I found it his best film. I got bored while watching Barfi and this one YJHD ( Anjaana Anjaani and Rockstar were better than this one.. and yeah.. why Karan Johar is repeating the character of Naina who was serious, never smiling and with glasses!!!! I mean Pretty Zinta’s role in Kal Ho Na Ho!!! Deepika can’t step in this shoes!!!)
