Those who watched the Wanted : Dead and Alive trailer with Love Aaj Kal last week, would be aware of the hype the movie has managed to generate. The noise was deafening throughout the short theatrical trailer of the film.
The trade expects the film to open big, given its mass appeal and the fact that the film stars Salman Khan in an action role after a long time should be enough to guarantee a huge initial. The rest would, quite obviously, depend on content.
Here’s our box office prediction for Wanted : Dead and Alive
- Opening weekend – 24 crores.. which should ensure a HIT (minimum) and the biggest opening weekend for Salman Khan.
- 1st week – If content is strong, should be close to 40 crores. Else should be in the range 33 – 35 crores net.
- If accepted, the film has strong chances of being Salman Khan’s biggest grosser in quite a while. Much needed for the actor!

Shahrukh doesn’t look his age..some lines in his face doesn’t make him look bad unlike Salman.. Salman was handsome in the past, but he’s not any more. He was ok in Kyon ki, but after this movie, he didn’t care about his look.
Shahrukh is smart and even if he’s growning older,he takes care of his look.. he knows he’s an actor and actor must always look good on the screen.. and keeps his weight, he’ll look good even when he reaches the ages of 60.. I’m sure.

The answer is none…..Isn’t that enough to not to count him among top 5???? U mentioned Maine Pyaar Kiya.. an old hit movie.. how many years since he did it? 20 years!! and if u just go back and watch this movie.. you’d laught.. his acting is terrible as a newcomer, even the girl doesn’t know how to act.. Iwatched it again a while ago.. the script & the songs were good..but their performance was bad.. Salman isn’t a great actor.. but u ppl can’t face this fact because u like him!!
And Partner was one of those shallow comedy movies.. just a pastime, not a great one.. I can’t remember for Salman any good movie except Phir Melenge with Shilpa & KKHH in a short role he played.. Lucky wasn’t bad too.. that’s all.. he really needs a great script + a great director to give him a hit movie..he needs a difficult role to play not just to be funny on the screen!
Asma: if u watch Kaho Na Pyaar Hai for Hrithik, Deewana for Shahrukh, Qayamat se Qayamat Tak for Aamir.. you’ll find that these 3 actors proved that they’re much more talented than Salman as newcomers.. Salman was only a good looking actor when he was younger.. and that was in his credit and the reason for his success.
Even Ashmit Patel (Amisha Patel’s brother) who did Intehaa & Murder is a much better actor.. this actor has no luck.. he’s talented and a good looking but disappeared from bollywood!
