Its quite tricky to be in Akshay Kumar’s shoes right now. This year hasn’t been what he probably expected it to be.
A pretty safe film Chandni Chowk to China, given his 2006-08 stupendous success in the particular genre, was a box-office disaster. Then came Tasveer, which was expected to shut his critics, but was slammed critically and literally sank without a trace.
His last release was the controversial Kambakht Ishq, which again didn’t do as well as it was expected to. Certainly with the pre-release hype we expected a lot more, infact Love Aaj Kal, starring a much lesser star (box office pull) outgrossed the Akki film by a mile.
So what does this mean to the fortunes of BLUE, a mega-budget multi-starrer, with the responsibility of drawing crowds to theatres solely resting on Akshay Kumar’s shoulders?
Will BLUE work at the box office and provide Akshay his much-needed box office blockbuster? What do you think? Comments below

About Shahruh.. Sudeep u hv to grow up.. don’t believe everything u hear or u read about stars, it’s not fair that u start hating shahrukh because of this incident.. if u saw the movie Billu Barber.. do u remember the scene where he – as a film star – shout at a nosey guy who wants to enterefer in his personal life and his relationships with his friends.. so he tells shahrukh that nowadays stars always fight 2gether.. then shahrukh stops him by saying: that’s non of his business and then Shahruh says a sentence ( and it was a message for the audience actually): we all work like a team, we love each other.. and sometimes we do fight.. we misunderstand each other.. so what.. and ask him not to enterefer.
Sudeep: we know nothing about their lives.. who was right.. who was wrong.. what happened exactly that made both Shahrukh and Salman fight..so it’s not out business.. and yeah.. shahrukh, Akshay, Aamir, other actors may always fight with their wives, with their friends, with their directors or whoever.. it’s not out business.. why do we care?!! All we’ve to concentrate on is their abilities as actors.. do they do some good movies and we enjoy them.. are they good.. do we like them or not on the screen.. that’s all.
And yeah… about some ppl who tried to spread a like about shahrukh.. in the movie Billue Barbar, while he’s walking among his fans..shahrukh says to his colleague: most of the fans are..men!!! if there’re lots of gay ppl who loved shahrukh and wanted an affair with him.. does it make him a gay person?!!

It will only become blockbuster.. ” IF sunil shetty, and salman khan were in the film instead of sanjay dutt. Then it will definately become a huge blockbuster hit. and Akshay kumar needs to work hard with his dialogue if he’s doing comedy. With the hair is too short. please try to understand this.
I really hope BLUE will work. Well trailler is always showing the good part of a movie which will last only 5min……I will not judge a movie base on the Trailler any more expecially after CC2C/TASHAN .Akkie is a good actor paring with SD/LD/ZK will make it even better. Well guys why should AKKI be responsible if any of his movie flop…..the director should be blame 80 percent for making STUPID movie. I guess Akkie just need to pick his movie and not do anything that comes his way. He will sure rule the audience.
BTW whoever choose SUNIL Shetty / Salman Khan over Sanjay Dutt must be nutts…..Please go a have a look at all Sanjay Dutt movie before comparing him to others……….
Haseen: we’ve to blame an actor who’s been considered as a superstar and working for long years.. who’s working 17 years in the industry for selecting or accepting to do some crap e.g. cc2c..( he said in an interview recently that he loved cc2c!! hahaha.. Akshay loved cc2c but he doesn’t know why it failed?!! Doesn’t this indicate and prove that Akshay has zero knowledge in movies?!!
If Akshay Kumar was young and new in the industry like Imran Khan or Hurman Baweja.. yeah.. we can’t blame them because they lack experience.. but an actor like Akshay.. that means he has no good knowledge in movies! Why Shahrukh would never do such a crap?! Why not Aamir or Hrithik.. these guys are aware and know what’s good and what’s bad.. but obviously Salman & Akshay don’t know yet.. they r stilll babies who drink their milk from the bottles! they need somebody teach them!!!!

Well i think BLUE will be a blockbuster movie..nd it will break all recors..blve me guys..blue will definitly rock..nd Akshya is best..no doubt abt his acting skills..the song “CHIGGy WIGGY” of BLUE is very gud..afterall it had gr8 work of A.R Rahman,sonu Nigam nd ofcourse KYLIE MINOUGE..

fathiya: i think u didnt see shahrukh’s latest Billu Barber . can u tell me that were was the script in that movie ? paheli and rab ne bana di jodi . RNBDJ se fazool aur bakwas film aaj tak india main nahi bani aik larki ko pata hi nahi chalta ke us ka huby and boy frnd aik hi admi hai aur dono se woh daily milti bhi hai.Hritik ki fiza , aap mujeh achay lagne lage, lakshye , koi mil gaya , krishh in sab movies main script kaha tha kia sence thi sab bakwaas tha, sirf aik Amir khan hi hai jo senseable movies karta hai baki sab aik hi kashti ke sawar hain u cant blame only on Akki.
Nauman: I saw Billu and I liked it.. as well as Paheli, Swades and RBNDJ was the best movie which shahrukh did.. and it’s also considered one of the top 3 movies which earned money at the box office.. 3 top movies Ghajini, RBNDJ & Dhoom2 ( i read this by indicine team on “Ask Us”) and u can’t consider a movie as a bad one because the wife couldn’t recoginize her husband!)

I saw RBNDJ 6 times sofar.. and my niece saw it 10 times.. and it worked almost 3 months in our cinemas and everyone loved it so much..and we’ll see it over the years 20 times.. it was a full entertaining movie which lots of ppl enjoyed.. at least.. it was better than OSO which u all loved and it was a crap although it was a blockbuster movie in India!
its gonna be in the same category as ‘KI’, and ‘cctc’. i.e. poorly made with no substance. singh kumar will undoubtedly be very annoying as he was in his last 4 flicks.
all this adds up to the film being rejected by the audiernce and akshay losing more of his fanbase.
what a shame, what happened to this once great and entertaining actor who made decent films like aitraaz, hera pheri, waqt, mohra etc ??

I fully agree with you….RBNDJ is such a stupid movie……yet people said it a good movis because SRK is in it……We can’t just blame the actor for a Crape movie……….the Director should be blame for such a STUPID movie…..

Blue promos look great.. the action scenes breathtaking, unlike the ones in Dhoom2, Tashaan n all the crap..
not sure how the script is… CCTC trailer looked to be one of the best when it first came out… but the movie turned to be utter crap… atleast, they tried something different… some kind of a spoof movie but it fell flat…
Akshay is trying a serious action movie after ages… hopefully, its a clean entertainer and does wonderfully well at the BO… Go, go, go…Akshay!
