We were in the process of upgrading our servers before the release of KICK and the server upgradation is now complete. Now with less than 6 days to go for the release of KICK and the beginning of a massive flow of big releases in the next few months, we’d like to know from you, our dear readers, which section on Indicine you like reading the most?
Box office collection updates: Reporting figures is something that we’ve been doing right from the time the site was launched in 2006-07 and the next few years will be no different. We are striving hard to give out quicker updates for big films, more accurate data as we slowly build our own network of exhibitors and distributors. But is this something that you like considering the fact that there are so many ‘sources’ for box office info now?
Photos and events: Those daily updates of photos from various events across Mumbai. Celebs at product launches, fashion shows, special screenings, success parties etc.
Polls / voting: Apart from those usual “How did you like the trailer of a film”, “The most awaited film of a year” etc we are also thinking about creating polls comparing first look posters of the next few film releases. Head over the comments section below and post your poll ideas too, if you have any!
Box office collections of one film vs another: Would you like to see more of box office comparisons between two films? For example, 2 States vs Ek Villain and Kick vs Chennai Express? If yes, pick this option in the poll below. Remember you can pick up to 3.
News updates: Those usual news updates covering everything about Bollywood. Movie announcements, cast announcements, statements etc come under this category.
Rumours: With the massive number of ‘reports from sources’ coming in these days, we have decided to clearly differentiate news announcements from the rumours. At the bottom of every ‘rumoured’ news piece, we will be mentioning the same. But are rumours something that you’d like to read about or should be completely avoid all unconfirmed news reports? For example, Salman Khan in talks for Dhoom 4 is a rumour until YRF make an official announcement, but it does generate tremendous interest around here.
Question and answers: You ask a question, we answer! It could be anything related to Bollywood. For examples -> Click here Do you like this section?
Apart from the above mentioned items.. reviews, first look posters, trailers etc will be published. If there is anything apart from these that you’d like to read, do post your ideas in the comments section below.

I feel rumours are good, as sometimes it do turn out to be true.
but Indicine should not post fake news, just like the one they did last week on srk and aditya chopra movie.
box office analysis are good, but too much of it should be avoided, while a comparison of analysis is always interesting.
photos and events are there on every other site, so not much interested.
one more request, there are people who don’t insult others with their comments, and these people should be able to post without going through the scrutiny of the moderators. A system should be put in place, as sometimes it takes a whole day for a comment to get approved.

My fav user is “aks” but as I mentioned to “aks” afew months ago when he provided links to past articles discussing Ghajinis BO success in 2008/09- a reader I followed in the comments section was Fathiya as she talked alot of sense. Havent read alot of articles with her commenting but from what I can judge she deserves to be second behind “aks”….! Third on my list is “empty brain zone” due to the sudden downward curve his mental state of mind took due to my bashing of him over several months, “sachin11” is fourth as everything he wrote had me ROFL, fifth is “hrihiklover” even though it seemed to me that he just copied n pasted his comments from some pro Mosquito fanclub (well not surprising to see a Rohit fan plagiarising as their mentors/ idol ie the Roshan practise the art form)…!
@mega pirate megha Why Indicine should criticise remakes is neither here nor there bcoz you yourself illegally download movies so you not exactly contributing anything to the film industry in fiscal terms now are you..?.! One can argue that its bcoz of pirates like you that producers dont risk in investing in new ideas as its a risky proposition when ppl can download for free so hence they buy remakes as its a sure shot winner in most cases…! Less risk involved n good returns likely. Get of your high moral ground n do something constructive like visit theatres supporting the film industry rather than the criminals…!
@navin it takes a very good solid original film to take me to the theatres..if you blow up your money doesnt mean that I should also..dont defy me just because you have to..!!!what im suggesting is for the betterment of indicine and they know it..
But dont expect me to go and see hate story2..cos my money will be wasted if it turns out to be a copy of kill bill..
No remakes needed..pathetic films made for pathetic people..my level and standard expectation. Is very high..otherwise I will hit them hard..
This week indicine has not posted any review after spankung from me..so things are definately moving. In the right. Direction.
Real criminals are those makers who lift others ideas plagiarise..make remakes and cheap thrillers without full production values…i would advise lot of people to download movies as bb rates are cheaper or wait for tv release for all films.. dont make these people become rich and let them feel successful
the poll section is best and u should also give verdict and lifetime collections of all films not only just of biggies

If you believe that then you fooling nobody just yourself. I dont think theres much more to say to someone that thinks its okay to watch movies for free then criticise that movie as being pathetic or low in quality when you havent contributed anything to that movie… I pay for theatre tickets not just for myself but for my family so I feel I have a right to call a film pathetic or not but what right you have I will never know. Come back from the theatre the next time you watch a movie then rant n rave about it but until that time shut up and leave the praising/ bashing of movies to the paying public instead you loser…!

I visit indicine because i enjoying Our Salman bhaai’s fans insulted SRK fans and after the insulting admin removed the comment of Salman Fans that moment was very nice hahaha
@indicine Some of the things your site does are unique and makes you stand apart from others. Those stand apart things are: Top 5 actor and songs updates, Movie collection comaprisons in graphical way, The comments section and you guys(Admins) replying on comments section.
