Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar – these two are by far the two most discussed stars in the last 2 – 3 weeks here. There have been some HUGE discussions and arguments in the comments section, right from Diwali when Blue clashed with Main Aur Mrs Khanna. Although Blue was a clear winner, Salman’s Wanted that released on Eid was a much bigger hit.
The quality of films – of both stars – hasn’t really been upto the mark, but their fan-following seems to be increasing by the day. Hard to believe but true.
As things stand today, Akshay Kumar commands a bigger opening at the box office, but Salman Khan with Wanted proved he still has it in him to pull crowds to theaters.

Blue didnt have good report even Kambakht ishq wasnt have also good report both movies were stupid without good music good story n good direction. KI got 60 cr in india and 15 cr overseas , Blue got 45 cr in india and 5 cr overseas. it means both movies got 50 cr + .
London dream was very good movie good story diffrent style good direction , and Main aur Mrs khanna was also good movie better then Blue . MAMK got only 10 cr and LD got 25 cr in 1st week.
i wana say only one thing Akki’s movies are not good but earning more then 50 Cr and Salman’s movies are good but not getting enough money

LD is very good movie it should have got 50 cr + but figures are saying that it cant reach till 35 cr coz 1st week 25 and

Salman may have been given tons of hits on 90’s but now lets say that this is new generation and newcomers coming like Ranbir, Neil nitin, Imran khan, Shahid Kapoor has been started giving hits so no one cares about old movies except Sholay, DDLJ and Mughal-e-Azam so now please stop crying that Salman’s movies are ruling on box office cuz he is making 3-4 films per year and only 1 movie works well on box office.
Right now Akshay is charging more money per film than Salman Khan. He truly ruling on box office right now because lets say his recent movies didn’t do well but his films make tons of money on box office.
At the end both are on their own way. Let’s just hope that Salman and Akshay keep making 3-4 films per year and entertain us all because before Aamir and Hritik were making one film per year now even Shahrukh Khan has started making one film per year.
