This will be Hrithik Roshan’s biggest hit ever and also the biggest hit of 2010, in my belief. Hrithik can’t be touched every year that he does a film almost every time he get’s the best actor award, so here’s another one in Hrithik’s kitty! My Name Is Khan will be good competition, but it won’t stand as much as Kites, Kites all the way. Plus both are international movies so good luck to both of them. And by the way, Salman sucks Hrithik rocks!

@Nauman, Actually 1st 20 sec are similar to that KI scene when Akshay Takes Kareena Inside the sea + The Way Hrithik comes out from the sea is a LA BLUE act.
Rest Trailor is good, But Story does not look that gr8, LOVE, BETRAYAL has been done to death. The diff being the LOVE STORY here, which is bit different.
Looks like Barbara falls in Love with Hrithik just for some cause i.e. money, then she betrays him. Finally Realsing her love for him.
I may be wrong, but from this the story looks somewhat i said.
Good Luck to DUGGU, But Family will stay out of it. Single Screens too will not be that gr8.
For those who are comparing it as blue..FYI Kites 50% of the movie got completed before blue started it’s shooting and plzz yaar THIS IS A HRITHIK’s MOVIE and not an akshay’s movie..so u can’t expect a blue or ki for that matter but something different and likable for sure and remember this is FILMKRAFT and rakesh-hrithik combo..which gave KNPH,KMG and KRRISH.
Duggu Rocks !!!!!!!! Kites is definitely on my list ……………… it is for sure most awaited film of this year !!!! hands down

common guys trailer is good no doubt but it has to hold some story in it and major factor here will be nature of film i dont think kites will do well at cinema because family class at no cost will watch this film and second thing that it might not even well is that hrithick do not boast of die hard fans like salman shahrukh or akshay means if the film get poor reviews like veer or kambhaqt ishq it might turn out to be the biggest disaster.
and adii you are such a fool even if you consider it a flop(in truth its avg) even in that case it has broken many records in a short span. addii i bet that whoever yours fav actor can he beat aamir in either multiplex or single screens no not at all. at least salman is the lone actor in bollywood which breaks aamir record at single screens my figures of 4.5cr on day one was lower from single screens on day one actually it was 5cr on day one from single scren because VEER nets 7cr on day one and nearly 70% comes from single screens or even more means first day fig will be 5cr or even more. and mind you adii ghajini first day collection from single screens was not even 4 cr and that of wanted was near 3-3.5 cr . so atleast sallu fans can say that salman is the lone actor in bollywood who can break aamir records at least on one kind of cinema because other actors are not even closer. and i was very happy to read a article in TIMES OF INDIA that salman is the favourite actor of BHARAT AND NOT INDIA.

Sami, we have not much to say on the SRK – Shiv Sena issue. But completely with SRK at the moment simply because the issue has nothing to do with the film, its not his film alone. If Shiv Sen ain’t happy with what he said, target him.. not the film.
We want every film to succeed here, as so many livelihoods are dependent on the outcome of every film. Targeting the entertainment industry for political mileage is simply not acceptable.
Would be glad if SRK sticks on the stand that he taken and the cops should ensure the film has a smooth release all over including Mumbai.

Don’t talk like a fool man, appreciate if u have liked the trailer…..hrithik has no hardcore fans well without any fans hrithik is the only actor in this decade who sits high along with the khans & akshay kumar…..don’t give example of veer man , it’s shame that a superstar can’t give a clean hit & if they can’t who else will ?? A tusshar kapoor’s or a uday chopra ???….don’t give the high budget crap man, it’s the fault of producers relying too much on salman & thinking it will a blockbuster even it has poor content & average/ab average earners for superstars like srk, akshay, aamir, salman & hrithik should b considered as a dissapointment….bcause that’s the least u expect from their films.
By the way a film like Love aaj kaal was rejected in single screens but still got a super-hit tag…so don’t give us those single screen figures for veer.

If this film has good story,than they don’t hav 2 worry about single screen,cause in overseas it will earn double profit than single screen….:)

multiplex has cost upto 2-3 times and those who think that only those people go to plex who are educated then take this in delhi most of the people i see around me just do no work but owns a house of 1cr (read it black money) so all those guys who have a myth like this then just the 2nd person in delhi do the business of prop dealing so stop saying guys that multiplex audience is educated . most of them are uneducated in fact many delihites dont know about IITS OR NITS they only know one college DU AND INDERPARASTH i am not talking about those students who come from UP OR BIHAR because some of them are very bright.
this point is mainly to individuals like NAUMAN AND REX who have a myth from the time they are born that multiplex audience is educated but . so guys pls understand the diff between RICH AND EDUCATED.
and for this film if the producers want to succed this film they have to release the film with most of the hot scenes deleted because if they dont just forgot about single screen it will not work on multiplex as well.

U don’t have to taught us the meaning between RICH & EDUCATED….it seems you are diverging totally in the wrong direction…..have i posted anything about rich educated in my earlier post!!!!I live in Kolkata & many people infact me many times prefer watching movies in single screens than multiplexes…..i grew watching movies in single screens & i will book tickets for MNIK in single screens only…..so don’t educate me about single screens, man.
AS for Kites, it will definitely became a blockbuster with help of Hrithik’s Star power & a good content(i am hoping 4 it).Movies with bold scenes have worked in the past in single screens when multiplex didn’t even started properly in india, well i will give u some examples to enlighten your thoughts again..
1) Murder- With no majo star cast it got a super-hit tag running in the single screens only.
2) Julie- Acting bad!!Story ridiculous!! but julie became a hit starring neha dhupia became hit in india & with this movie came the famous dialogue “only srk & sex sells in india” .
3) Jism- neither bipasa basu or john abraham was a big name at that point of time, but still the movie was a success.
now Kites has big names attached to it’s name & Hrithik Roshan!! it’s a name u can’t ignore …even if the content is poor it will take a huge opening & if the content is good, then it will make some serious changes in the record books. Well, some people has this doubts in their minds after kurbaan failed, but kurbaan failed due to it’s theme otherwise on the other hand Love aaj kaal with the same actor (with several kissing scenes in the movie)succeeded with a super-hit tag.Do mind that Kites is Romance/action thriller which is eye candy for indian audiences.
